I got pet insurance for my dog Sophie because when my husband brought her home from Georgia she had not had shots nor any type of treatment.. Since having this insurance we have not had to pay a lot for her treatments nor shots... I would tell everyone who has a pet to get he insurance because it dos pay off in the long run... Sophie is a vey healthy and happy dog since we got her and now she is up to date on everything... That's ASPCA for the outstanding work you do and your helpful services you offer...

We just started a policy with Embrace. We also signed up for the wellness plan which will refund you up to $400 annually. That week I took our Golden Retriever in for her ortho check-up and vaccinations. I submitted my first claim shortly thereafter for the check-up and received a full reimbursement within 10 days. So far everything has gone smoothly. Very good communications.

Embrace has been a life-saver for our family. They have been efficient and responsive regarding the claims we have submitted, and provided needed financial support during a difficult time with our dog becoming unexpectedly ill.

Embrce has been very efficient and thoughtful thus far in covering claims for my 4 month old wire hair fox terrier Anna Bella. Anna Bella has had two gastric upsets since our coverage started and Embrace covered their part in a timely and stress free ( for me) mannaer. I am very happy with my coverage for Anna Bella. The stress free and easy claim form means more than anything to me.

After the challenge of attempting to manage the expense of both planned and unplanned vet bills with two other beloved dogs, when we got a new puppy last year we decided to enroll in a pet insurance plan. After much research and comparison we chose Embrace and have not our choice. The premiums are reasonable and the peace of mind is invaluable. We no longer have to postpone a vet visit and have our Bailey suffer needlessly because it is not in the budget. The plan we chose includes some routine wellness coverage. Although Bailey is currently healthy, those annual vet visits with tests and vaccines can add up. Simply download a preprinted claim form, have the vet sign it, submit and that's it. It was nice to get that $200 reimbursement check so soon after the appointment.

I bought Healthy Paws Insurance for my 4 year old boxer and have never been happier. While consulting with my vet about insurance, she said "you have a boxer, so YES, get the insurance." At that point, I began to shop around and landed with this company for coverage. This company is great because they will allow you to select the deductible you want and the percentage of coverage you desire. Whatever you select will determine your monthly rate. I pay about $50 a month for it and let me tell you - it's absolutely worth it! My dog is now 5.5yrs old and we have been through 2 surgeries using this insurance. Every time my claims were adjudicated quickly and I received 90% (minus my deductible) for the costs. If I did not understand why something was not reimbursed, it was always explained to me clearly and if something should have been covered but wasn't for some reason, it was corrected immediately. Their customer service is EXCELLENT. If you are considering pet insurance, definitely take a look at this company. I cannot tell you how much it has saved me financially as well as for piece of mind. I never worry about a $10,000 surgery because they are right there with you all the way. My boxer just got a tumor removed (very common in boxers) to the tune of $1,000 ($300 to diagnose, $700 for the surgery) and everything was covered (minus the vet's office fee, which they don't pay for). Totally true story-- I adopted my dog in April. My last one had a lot of chronic diseases plus one emergency surgery and I didn't have insurance. I decided to get it with the new one and after much comparison went with Embrace because of customizable plans and other features such as actual cost reimbursement annual not per incident deductible. She was diagnosed in October with insulima, a tumor on her pancreas. I opted for surgery to prolong good quality life but not cure her. Surgery went well and biopsy was encouraging but she developed severe pancreatitits and became diabetic. SHe spent 8 days in the ICU and still needs lots of care. The only bright spot in this whole thing has been Embrace (plus the kindness of others). even though she was so newly ensured the paid up in full. I'm only giving a 9 not a 10 because of the delay in processing my claims (for which they repeatedly apologized and did keep me informed of status). To top it off, the customer service rep I talked to emailed me separately to inquire about the dog's status and say how glad she was that at least I was getting reimbursed. Really impressed and pleased.

The Embrace folks did a wonderful job - all we did was fax in our receipts and they took care of the rest - about 2 weeks later we received checks. Thanks for the great support and quick response.

My purpose in writing is to pass along our story in hopes of informing other pet parents of the benefits of having pet insurance. What I should say is the benefits of having top-rate pet insurance. Having loved a chronically ill pet in the past led me to research the many companies who are now offering pet insurance. Believe me, I lit up the internet with searches, questions and policy comparisons. My investigatory work led me to the elimination of many companies and it directed me to Trupanion. That was three years ago and I have not regretted my decision for one moment. Not only have the Trupanion folks supported me monetarily in the care of the girls but they have also given me emotional support with the security of knowing that they do what they say they will do. One of the things that attracted me to Trupanion was their easy to read policy, no gray areas. You know up front what you are getting from Trupanion, their policy guidelines are clear. Another thing that impressed me was Trupanion's customer service, just as their policy, they do what they say they will do and they are so darned nice about it.
