Health Paws is The BEST Pet Insurance!!

Like all dogs, my Yorkie has had a few unhappy visits to the vet, and I never worry or wonder whether my insurance is sufficient. Healthy Paws is amazing to work with. When I submit a claim it is typically processed in a day or two, and the coverage is phenomenal (I have 90%-worth it). They also email me to ask how my dog is doing, and I love that personal touch!I did my research before signing up with Healthy Paws, and their coverage is by far the best. I recommend Healthy Paws to all of my friends and family. Worth EVERY Penny!!

Awesome Insurance Company

I have a six year old dachshund who has been insured by Embrace since he was a puppy. He was a very healthy little guy, with zero insurance claims for the first four years of his life. So healthy, in fact, that I briefly cancelled his Embrace insurance policy because I thought it was unnecessary. A month after cancelling, my cautious side told me to reinsure him and it was the best decision I've ever made. Ten months after reinsuring him, Brody became paralyzed, diagnosed with IVDD. Two surgeries and a week long hospital stay later, his bill was close to $9,000. Embrace came through 100% and covered his surgery/stay to the full 90% called for under his plan. Brody was up and running again in no time! Unfortunately, Brody had a reoccurrence of IVDD 14 months after the first and again required surgery and a hospital stay ($7,000). That, and a few other mishaps the same year (snake bite, infection), brought his 2013 vet bills to almost $9,000 again. But, Embrace had us covered, and again provided a prompt refund of 90% of his vet costs. Pet insurance isn't cheap. But wow, it's a whole lot cheaper than $18,000 over two years in vet bills. No cost would be too much to spend on my little man, but Embrace has enabled me to give him the best care possible without breaking the bank.

ACL Surgery for 12 year old dog

We switched vets in the fall and our new Vet recommended a 30 day trial with Trupanion after the 30 days I thought I would keep it for awhile longer. I'm glad I did…our 12 year old West Highland Terrier tore his ACL about a month after we extended the trail. We had some initial issues because they, Trupanion, did not have his complete medical records from 4 other Vets and that was a little scary because we new that this was a new issue and not an existing issue and were being told that they couldn't let us know if it was covered until the records were reviewed. My recommendation is to get ALL your records to them when you sign up and update as you go along…then if an issue comes about they will have all of your pets records on file and should be able to answer ALL questions when you submit the claim ALSO look at getting PRE-APPROVED…that would have been a huge help. We had about 3 to 4 days before the surgery and had we started the pre-approval the scariness would not have been there. Would I recommend this insurance...YES!!! We have never had pet insurance BUT with having 4 dogs at various ages I believe we will be continuing our policies with Trupanion for years to come.

Incredible! Fast response!!!

I submitted my first claim with Embrace a couple weeks ago; I have to say I am so impressed! At first I wasn't sure on how fast my claim would be processed, but not only I am impressed with Embrace I am actually looking forward to my next claim. My total bill was $256.00 and my refund was $244.00, received within a week. I also have the option of direct deposit now, which will make the claim process even faster. Embrace has followed up with me before processing the claim, during the processing of the claim and after. AMAZING!!! Excellent customer service. I have just referred Embrace to a few friends and I will continue to do it. Very pleased!!!!

great insurance

We got Trupanion when we got a puppy almost 4 years ago. They have been really great with reimbursement. The premium is now about 50 dollars a month but that includes a special rider for hip dysplasia. Our dog is very playful and curious so she tends to find trouble and on top of that she is sensitive to many products. To make a long story short she was been to the vet many vet times. Each time we have submitted a claim and got 90percent reimbursement. They are fast and friendly. I highly recommend them to folks who have dogs like ours.

Much simpler than I thought! Great surprise!

Getting set up with Embrace was much easier than I was expecting. Embrace worked with my Vet to get all of my dog's information so I didn't have to be the middle man. They also keep me informed whenever they receive one of my claims and the details of the claim - what's covered and why certain things aren't covered. This was a lot simpler than I was expecting and I'm very pleased!

First time having pet insurance, glad I have it!

The saying, I rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it certainly applies here!We have a Weimaraner who is almost 2 Years old and he has been a handful to say the least, but he has brought many smiles and I am glad we have some help recouping money spent at the vet. The premiums have been covered and more, the people I have spoken with on the phone from ASPCA Pet have been very courteous and helpful!

Excellent! Human health insurance should take note

My little pup had a rapid onset virus that caused vomiting and quickly resulted in dehydration. I sought emergency care for her at my vet. The treatment and expense were non-trivial. Healthy Paws worked extremely professionally and quickly with my vet to process my claim. I had no idea it would be this easy!
