My cat had a urinary blockage, thankfully HealthyPaws was here for us
A month ago my cat was straining to urinate. One day he wasn't able to pee at all. After taking him to the ER, they told us that he had a blockage, and that they had to perform surgery, a Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery. The cost was pretty high, but thankfully HealthyPaws covered most of the cost! Highly recommend!
The only thing is that HealthyPaws does not put the money upfront. You need to put it from pocket, and then they would eventually refund you.

Best Pet Insurance Ever
We have used several pet insurance companies in the past and glad we found Healthy Paws. Filing a claim is simple and they process the claim quickly. We highly recommend using them.

Very slow; claim denial without explanation
We have found PetsBest to be very slow in processing claims .. over a month. So far, the two claims we've submitted have been applied to deductible, with the exception of a portion of one claim that was denied with the explanation: "services claimed do not meet policy provisions." This was for a blood panel workup -- "comp panel - lytes - CBC in house". Nowhere in the policy are "provisions" stated. We have no idea why the claim was denied.

Quick respotime
My dog suddenly began acting odd and hanging her head low. No visible injury nor was she doing anything that could have resulted Iin a slipped disc other than being spooked on a nature walk and turning her head quickly and sharply.2 visits to emergency didn't give diagnosis, but follow up visit to her own vet indicated a neck injury. Those three claimes were submitted and paid out quickly. An MRI was done to show where in the neck the injury was-slipped disc. That claim was paid out quickly as well to help pay for my dog's sur. Just wish I had set more aside in insurance, but never thought my dog would've had that kind of injury at only 3 years if age. But Embrace gave me confidence in knowing that my dog would be taken care of. Get Insurance for your pet; you never know what an everyday walk might bring.

This company started out being just "ok". They were kinda stand-upish but now I think they’ve just clumped with other businesses as money hungry leeches that prey on the needs of the community. We pay the price to receive less than service and no to minimal payout. They have every excuse in the world as to why they either can’t pay you soon enough, or at all for that matter. Your much BETTER OFF saving those dollars as if you were paying insurance. At least it would help you to avoid needing reimbursement that you WILL NOT receive. Theyll say your pets issues are already present so they won’t pay, even with proof. They will take MONTHS to reply for your claim. Yes we all know COVID is here. That doesn’t negate the fact that you have a business to run. Is COVID not n issue when you take our funds so swiftly monthly? Is it not an issue when you send notices for late payments in a matters of days? They have a team for every little Avenue until it comes to paying you. Not only that, the coverage used to actually cover things. Now it’s simply car insurance. Keep it until you need it no hope that never happens because the deductible are so trash that you may as well just pay out of pocket and be pleased with that. I pay thousands a year to receive a under 400 hundred back on $3k plus claims… you do the math lol. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BECOME YOUR OWN LENDE4. These people will rob you blind. And never reply…unless they feel attacked lol that how you know a company is bad, they only reply to try and save their good name but not when it counts as far as service. I’m starting to think there’s only a team of 10 running the show.
