I had another pet insurance company for one of our previous dogs. With healthy paws, you know what is covered, and what is not. The insurance plan we chose was only for illness, injury, etc., not wellness. Our Golden retriever has had to have surgery twice, once for an abdominal issue, one for a torn ACL. Both times, once we met the $250 deductible, 80% of our other covered costs were reimbursed. No hassle. I received a nice check yesterday, exactly two weeks after his surgery. Easy filing of claims, great communication, and great people to work with. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.
