10/10 Heaven sent! Fantastic people!

We rescued a young pup last year only to find that he liked to swallow things that weren't meant to be swallowed. Seeing the writing on the wall I decided that maybe we should look into pet insurance. I found a site online that compared a number of pet insurace companies and Healthy Paws had good ratings, so I chose them...and I am so glad I did.I enrolled the young pup at the $100 deductible, 90% coverage rate, then thought maybe we could afford insurance on our older dog, Murphy, a 10 year old dachshund. To my surprise, the cost was almost the same as the younger dog's, although I did choose the $500 deductible, 70% reimbursement. What a fantastic stroke of luck that turned out to be, because Murphy ruptured a disc in his back that required a MRI and then emergency surgery. The people at Healthy Paws were wonderful. The web-site is easy to use and speeds up the claims process tremendously. I received E:Mails to keep me up to date on the process, to request additional information, to let me know the claim was processed etc. and still just to check on how Murphy is doing. Wonderful people, wonderful company...I'm a customer for life!

Great Coverage - Wonderful Service

HP has been so easy to deal with. I have 3 dogs ranging from 3 years to 11 years and have never had an issue with coverage. My old girl is a cancer survivor and they have been there to take care of the cost of her needs. Highly recommend them.

Healthy Paws Customer Service is Amazing : )

My high energy 4 year old dog tore the ACL in her knee and needed major surgery that cost $3400. I sent the claim in to Healthy Paws and they got back to me within 24 hrs. Not only about the claim but to see how she was doing before, during and after the surgery. I received a reimbursement check within a week. I would like to say thanks so much for all the compassion everyone at Healthy Paws has shown and for excellent customer service!! I would highly recommend Healthy Paws to all pet owners : )

What out during renewal time

Even thou you receive an email stating "Thank you for renewing your pet insurance policy number xxx and for being a policyholder since xxx" and withing the same email "Your renewal policy is effective on xxx through xxx/2015 11:59 PM ET". Mean your NOT really renewed at all !!! They sort of put the cart before the horse in emails it seems for reason I still can not explain.

Entirely worth it

My dog tore his CCL and had to have major surgery. This happened 8 days after the 15 day waiting period after I first got the insurance. I just received my check for $2,921 and even got a follow up email from Healthy Paws checking up on Riley. Very happy (and lucky) I got this insurance when I did.

Happy As Ever With Embrace

Laura Bennett and her team are always quick to respond and very helpful. Claims are a hassle free process and they make sure they follow up every time. Many times, I submitted a claim and forgot about it but Laura has always checked to see that I got the refund for the Wellness claim. If you are thinking about adding the Wellness program to your insurance policy--do it! You spend $300 to get $400---which is absolutely doable with a pet that needs check-ups, shots, dental, flea and tick meds, etc. Love this company and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone needing wellness or regular insurance for their pet.

Outstanding!

One of our three cats, Theodore, was recently diagnosed with an entropion: the eyelid had swollen so that the hair on it was irritating the eye so badly it caused ulcers on the eye itself. Although unusual in cats, our vets had seen this before and recommended surgery to prevent any further or permanent damage to the eye. Knowing that we had insurance helped make our decision to have the surgery a little easier.Healthy Paws response was outstanding. I emailed in our scanned claims and by the end of the day, I received a response email indicating out claims had been processed and that we'd be receiving a check shortly. However, even more outstanding were the follow up emails asking how our "boy" came through the surgery and wishing him a swift recovery. I wish we had that kind of interest and service from our human insurance companies! My wife and I had considered changing over to the pet insurance offered by her company, which would be slightly better financially for us. But, after this experience, we decided we can't do any better than Healthy Paws for our three "kids."

Fair and Fast

I wish my family's insurance worked as fairly and quickly as Embrace does for our dog Nacho! Seriously, through a rather scary time working out some early potential hip dysplasia scares Embrace has always said what they were going to do, namely helping us through the difficulty of an already trying time. Every claim has been responded to quickly and the decisions explained clearly and fairly. Never having purchased pet insurance before, I've quickly become a convert to the benefit.

Good customer service and coverage!

We've had the policy enforce for a long while now and unfortunately have now had to submit a claim. I called customer service with some questions and they were very patient and helpful. The claim process was easy and they reimbursed 65% of the claim.

So far so good....

Have had a positive experience with Trupanion. Only glitch was trying to obtain old medical records on my cat from the vet and Trupanion getting ready to cancel claim due to non-receipt. Everything worked out-waiting for first reimbursement to arrive.
