Easy Claim Filing
We are so glad that we took out ASPCA Health insurance on our 8 month old Papillion mix rescue. The got hold of a bone and became very ill overnight. We took her to the local Animal 911 where she stayed in the hospital overnight for xrays, fluids, pain meds and observation. I submitted the claim to the ASPCA and received reimbursement for a majority of the total of the bill in under a month. We went with the ASPCA Health Insurance program because they are a name we trust. We have donated to the ASPCA for years and they were our first choice for our Holly.

Our 7 month old puppy suffered from a kidney infection. There were no other symptoms so it was not easy to diagnose. Thanks to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, I didn't have to worry about any testing that he needed. After 6 weeks on an antibiotic is is totally fine! Thank you Healthy Paws for the quick claim and quick reimbursement.

Able to focus on recovery and not the money
Thank you Embrace! We were able to focus on caring for Riley before and after surgery and not have the worry of how we would pay for her splenectomy. Because we had the comfort of knowing Embrace was there we didn't have to factor money into the decision of removing her spleen/mass. It was an easy decision only based on how it would benefit her. No worries!

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
I filed for pre-certification in order to be aware of the cost of the procedure, I might as well have sat on my ass and not done anything because the explanation of benefits is bull. They write part of the instructions in the email and part in the Explanation of Benefits, so when you try to contest because the refund you received was not correct, they have the right to say, "Well we did inform you of everything in the e-mail". I feel robbed. I have been a customer for over 3 years and I cannot believe that this is how customers are treated. I have recommended Embrace for years to family and friends and even to the Vet because I was so happy with their service. After my awful experience I will not be doing so again.

Wellness Dollars
The Wellness dollars come in handy. I suppose the amount I pay extra for them equals the $200 reimbursement or very close to it, however it is handy having it there to0 claim back some $s to go for other doggies expenses.

Good luck getting your claim accepted
I took the Embrace policy out when we adopted our greyhound based on generally good reviews. It seemed okay until we adopted our second dog, a mixed breed. Both dogs are young and full of energy and like to play fight(as all my dogs over the years have done). During one of these playful moments, the greyhound got a bit carried away and accidentally bit the mixed breed. It was a small wound, nothing terribly serious, but my wife took the mixed breed to the vet to get some antibiotics and one stitch. Embrace declined the claim based a pre-existing condition of aggression on the mixed breed because the vet used a muzzle to take blood at some point in the past. First of all, it was the Greyhound that bit the mixed breed, not the other way around. Second of all, in addition to the greyhound, the mixed breed lives with two cats and two kids. There is no way we could have an aggressive dog in our house. Clearly this was Embrace's tactic to get out of the claim. When challenged about it, they told me to fill out MORE paperwork for an appeal. That's when I canceled the policy.

Clear and fair
Embrace staff are always available to provide assistance needed. They have clear explanation of benefits that are easy to understand, communicate promptly and are fair in their assessments of coverage. I have been with them for two months and have had nothing but a good experience.

Great Insurance - Fast service
- I had my pet insurance with Healthy Paws since September.- This month, my almost 6-year old pug had a herniated disc all of the sudden.
- almost 7000$ in cost for diagnostic and surgery. Without Healthy Paws, I would have been in debt.
- Claims were processed within days.
- The APP is amazing.
- Their follow-up was also great.

EXCELLENT PET INSURANCE!!!
We've been Healthy Paws Insurance clients for over 3 years. Our three dogs are all insured. We have nothing but positive experience with this company! I've done extensive research of all pet insurances before signing up with them. They're definitely offering much better coverage than other companies often promoted by veterinarian offices. Our claims are ALWAYS processed within two hours(!!!) after submitting via email. The customer service staff is pleasant and helpful. We never had any issues whatsoever. We'd highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance to all pet parents who care deeply about their furry kids!!!

Amazing
Trupanion was the rainbow over our very stressful incident with our 8 month old Yorkie puppy. Trupanion eleminated worry of covering the cost of Luna's treatment and processed the claim in a few days. Luna is feeling better and our zeroo deductible 90% coverage policy on Luna was a lifesaver.
