My dog as 1 year old and unfortunately broke a leg. She got a surgery and now is fine. I contacted Embrace to be reembursed. Long story short... Embrace wanted a "detailed" report from every single time she had visited a vet... The criteria of what "detailed" is, only Embrace knows... And whatever to I had on record or the vet(s) sent was never enough. It took me over one month of calling to get it sorted. It is worthwhile to mention that everytime I called, I had talked with someone new on the call center that "repeated" the same speech for me to keep asking the vets. When I asked a supervisor or someone "in charge", they were never available to talk on the phone or to call back... I imagine if my dog was 5 years old. I would never be able to find all the "detailed" reports Embrace wants... I really felt that they were doing all possible to delay and prevent paying. in summary, i don't know if Embrace is better or worse than other pet insurance but I had a really BAD EXPERIENCE !!!

The representatives that I spoken could not have been more professional, compassionate and helpful in assisting me with the process. The claim was initiated over the telephone and I received email notification of very change in the claims process. The claim was finalized in less than one week after being initiated. This was my best insurance experience ever, human or pet!

I chose Healthy Paws due to the great reviews here. But so far, they keep ignoring the pet records that my vet has now sent twice. I have also sent repeated emails about them ignoring the pet records and they keep responding with an automated email telling me that I haven't submitted the pet records. Since email doesn't work, I tried calling and now have to wait for someone to call me back. I don't know if they will actually cover anything. Not impressed.

I hesitated to purchase insurance thinking a young dog wouldn't have many health issues. I decided to purchase accident only coverage. Less than 7 months after rescuing our newest addition, she was at the Emergency Vet for surgery to remove an ingested foreign body. After the deductible, we were reimbursed for the entire claim. I'm very happy with how quickly my claims were processed. I will most likely be upgrading to a full accident and illness policy.

Claims are processed so quickly and with no arguement. It makes the stressful process of having a sick pet a little easier.

We've had our 2 Samoyeds covered by Healthy Paws for many years. We were devastated when we recently learned that one of our Samoyeds has a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. Healthy Paws is a great insurance plan. Our dog had so many problems with her eyes. Healthy Paws helped make the experiences easier for us. Having to worry about our pet alone was enough. We didn't have to worry about the bills as well.They even emailed to find out how she was doing.
