For Us It Has Been There At A Hard Time
Our first pet insurance company, Purina, abruptly stopped covering our pets and went out of the business a couple of years ago. With that notification letter came a recommended company to take over our coverage, however, after reviewing that company we determined not to transfer to them. We researched several companies with Healthy Paws as one of them. Although they do not cover wellness or office visits, what they did cover was worth everything to us. They have lived up to all the coverage promised. Recently our five year old miniature dachshund suffered an IVDD incident. Healthy Paws has made the choices of how to treat our sweet little one so easy as surgery or confinement/medications/laser treatments etc. were covered by them 90% of our cost. She did end up having successful surgery on December 5, 2014, by Dr. Higgenbotham with Bush Veterinary Neurological Services in Richmond, VA. On December 12, 2014 our costs were covered by Healthy Paws for that 90%. Healthy Paws allowed us to do the very best for her. From our experience, Healthy Paws is an excellent provider.

Best. Pet. Insurance. Ever!
I did my research prior to signing up with Healthy Paws; they had the best types of coverage by far. I've learned early on that they live up to my very high expectations. My Frenchie puppy, Hugo, woke up very sick one morning-after a day in the hospital with many xrays and lab tests, and 3 weeks of recovery, I finally have my little clown dog back in great health. Healthy Paws was one of the only bright spots during this entire experience. They processed my claim quickly and efficiently. They even sent me an email checking in to see how Hugo was doing! Who does that anymore? I can't recommend Healthy Paws highly enough!

I've been happy with Embrace and have had this insurance for almost one year now. Each time a claim has been submitted, they have been efficient and processed refunds in a timely manner.
Also, their customer service agents have been very helpful and informative

Easy claim process and fast reimbursement
My dog, Lucy, wasn't eating or pooping, wasn't herself and we didn't know why. After taking her to the vet, they thought she had something stuck in her intestines and gave us an estimate of $3,000 for surgery to get it out. I assumed she had a tummy ache and didn't believe the vet. The only reason I didn't hesitate to do the surgery was because I knew that Healthy Paws would pay 90%. The vet turned out to be correct, my dog had a walnut stuck in her small intestine that wasn't going to come out by itself. It was so easy to submit the claim, I used the iPhone app to take a picture of the invoice, they sent me email confirmations when they received it and processed it. I got the reimbursement check in the mail within 3-5 days. I was amazed how much better Healthy Paws is compared to VPI (I used VPI in the past and only got 50% of a surgery and it took weeks to get a reimbursement check from them). Healthy Paws is worth it.

Simply Amazing!
I've been a Healthy Paws Pet Insurance member since June 2012. I have two fur babies and when my puppy started losing sight in her right eye due to a genetic predisposition, it was quite stressful as a pet parent. The Healthy Paws team was so helpful in explaining what was covered and what I could expect. Their team communicated with me throughout the process. Submitting a claim was extremely easy and the turnaround time was within days. The Healthy Paws team even followed up a week later to check up on my little one. They have gone above an beyond. Thank you, Healthy Paws, for being simply amazing!

Professional, Great Communications, Integrity!
We recently filed a claim for a visit to our vet that involved some diagnostic work on our Golden Retriever. Communication regarding our claim and explanation of what was covered was excellent. There is a distinct feeling that Embrace really does care and it is not strictly just a business where they try to minimize claim payouts.

This is an excellent company to deal with
I am so impressed with your service and caring. I never imagined being able to get claims processed and completed in a few hours without questions. They sent me a beautiful email checking how my puppy was and telling me to give her hugs for them. I have just been extremely impressed with the whole process from beginning to end.

A must have assest to protect fur babies
I am very glad I have ASPCA Pet Insurance. When Dakota became ill the insurance helped me focus on what was truly important, her medical care and our time together, not the cost of the care. While insurance doesn't pay all the bills it makes the financial commitment less of a burden. Dakota has passed away and now I and my elder cat Shawnee are facing the challenges older cats experience. Again I can focus on providing her quality care and our time together. I depend on ASPCA per insurance.
