I can’t tell you how much I LOVE this insurance company. I have had several claims for my cat Maxwell Edison including 2 surgeries. They process the claims very fast and can even direct deposit your money. So easy to file a claim as well. Download the app, set up your profile. To file a claim you go into the app, snap a pic of your itemized vet statement and send! They are really thoughtful and will send emails to check up on your baby’s health! I LOVE them and I know you will too! They are the peace of mind you need as a pet parent 😻

Having a pet and taking proper care of it is a MAJOR responsibility. My first dog was insured when she was 2 and lived to be 17 thanks to the wonderful coverage provided by VPI (eventually Nationwide). They literally saved her life AND her sight. My current pet, Cookie, has a sensitive tummy and eats TX food. They even help with that. Considering the love and companionship i’ve Had over the last 22 years, it’s a small price to pay to keep them healthy and happy. I highly recommend the top package as it reimburses (after satisfying deductible) at a very competitive rate.

My policy coverage includes a wellness portion as well as accident, and illness coverage. You don't realize how important coverage is because your baby is running around healthy and all you are responsible for is food and water. In my case, that turned into heart medications, lab work, xrays, echocardiograms...... The bill was overwhelming. Nothing could have prepared me for the heart-stopping reality of what the ER doctor told me. My baby was going to die!! I didn't know he was sick until he started panting constantly. I can say now that the medicines are working. I am glad I do not have to deal with the burden of an I'll family member and a monster vet bill alone. They did and are still doing what they said in his policy coverage. On top of that, they (Shelly) even called to check on me and my little one. Top notch product and professionals. I can manage my little ones illness and give him a little love back for all the times he has given me smiles.

I have had Nationwide insurance for several years. The service and the care is evident. The empathy when a pet is sick or passes is heartfelt and appreciated. The customer service is always top notch. I wish i could that that about all companies I interact with.
