Filing an insurance claim is not fun but the Trupanion people always make me feel good.
Filing an insurance claim is not fun, but the Trupanion people always make me feel good. They don't make me feel stupid about asking questions. Ari was really helpful walking me through the process. I also appreciate that Trupanion people always ask about my dog and how he's doing. That's really nice and makes me feel good.

Before Rosebud’s surgery I called and spoke with a Trupanion service representative. She was very helpful and told me what my next steps were. I loaded the new APP onto my phone. It was very easy to fill out paperwork and send over by phone.
Our reimbursement came quickly through the mail also. Thank you so much!!!

Competent, complete, and caring service
The claims experience was seamless. My vet handled everything, and Trupanion communicated with me every step of the way. The vet submitted an estimate, and Trupanion emailed a detailed explanation of what was covered and what wasn't almost immediately. When further treatment was needed, my vet submitted a revised estimate, and I received an updated explanation of coverage immediately. Sadly, my cat died while in the vet's care, but between the vet and Trupanion, all of the billing details got handled really quickly. Upon learning of the death of my cat, Trupanion immediately closed my plan without my having to call. And I was astonished a couple days later when I received notification of a premium credit for the part of the month when my cat would no longer need coverage -- all without my having to think about it or talk to a customer service rep. It was really a comfort that Trupanion managed all of that automatically during this really difficult time for me. A+, five stars, 10/10.
