Healthy Paws is a first rate pet insurance company. They cover a broad range of illnesses and reimburse claims very promptly. Their claim submittal process is simple and can be completed on line in a few simple steps. It is such a relief to know that Healthy Paws allows my dog to get the medical care she needs.

We feel so lucky that we took the leap and decided to get pet insurance for our rescue beagle, Jim. Other friends had had mixed experiences, and some told us that they didn't think it was worth it. We are two pretty cautious people so we decided to take the leap, just in case something happened. When Jim came down with some mysterious bumps that required a lot of bloodwork, biopsies, cultures, etc. we were facing huge medical bills. I think it's only then that you can appreciate the value of having a pet insurance that is comprehensive, FAST, and personal. I can't begin to describe what a relief it is to have someone reviewing this series of claims within days of submitting them and having the reimbursement come so quickly. In addition, we get occasional emails asking how he's doing and it really makes me feel like they care about more than the bottom line. If anyone out there is reading this and wondering whether pet insurance is worth it: yes. And if anyone is wondering whether Healthy Paws is the right choice: yes!I would recommend this to any friend or family who asked!

I have nothing but great experiences with Embrace. They answer all of my questions promptly and I get the reimbursement check for all of my claims quickly and efficiently. I have the wellness plan and I LOVE it, it is by the far the best wellness plan out there. They cover vaccinations, flea/tick preventatives, and heart worm preventatives--all which really add up over the course of a year. They are prompt and really easy to work with about everything. Don't be fooled by the "big names" that your vet may recommend because they don't know of any others. I did a lot of research and Embrace is truly the best, and now that I've had their coverage, I can certainly confirm that all the research was true!

Our dog was neutered a few months ago and we made a claim using our Wellness Benefits. The process and forms were straightforward and we received our reimbursement within 14 days. Embrace also followed up with us to make sure everything went well. I consider that excellent customer service in this day of automated services.

Great customer service and extremely prompt turnaround time for my first claim. I'm delighted with my choice of carriers. Healthy Paws covered 90% of my pup's medical bills and, what's better, they were extremely nice when I contacted them, and even contacted me after the claim was processed, inquiring as to my pet's recovery. I would recommend them to anyone who has a pet and isn't independently wealthy.

When our Bernese Mountain Dog, India, was nine months old she was diagnosed with elbow displaysia. Although we understand dogs of her breed often suffer from hip dysplasia later in life, we were completely surprised by the elbow diagnosis, which can be more difficult to treat. Thankfully, we had already signed on with Embrace. We originally chose Embrace because of its comprehensive care and willingness to support alternative therapies; the health & wellness of our family pets is very important to us. At four years of age, India has had three surgeries on her elbows and shoulders, rehabilitation, and stem cell therapy. Embrace has helped us with all of her care! We are extremely grateful! Hopefully, India has many years ahead and we will be able to continue to keep her joints as strong as possible. India also serves as the unofficial mascot of a local elementary school - many kids and adults depend on her happy presence and Berner love each day. I've only been with Embrace since March 1, but so far, so good! The staff explains everything in terms I can understand and is upfront and honest about what is not covered (i.e., pre-existing conditions, etc.).

I have had a great experience with ASPCA insurance - it's definitely worth the investment for the peace of mind. However, I do with they covered a higher percentage of costs. I live in a city where vet bills are higher than the national average, and many times my statements come back with discounted benefits because the cost is too high for the procedure. Although they advertise that they cover up to 90% of vet bills, our experience is that they cover 30-50%.

My 8-month old puppy grabbed a piece of raw meat off the counter and gulped it down, including the small metal skewer that was stuck in it. We rushed him to the hospital where x-rays confirmed he would need emergency surgery to keep the skewer from puncturing his intestines. Once we got him home (safe and sound), I filed the claim with Health Paws. Having never had pet insurance before, I didn't know what to expect, but the claims process was easy and hassle-free and the claim was approved within days. I'm really glad we decided to insure our puppy with Healthy Paws!

I was somewhat skeptical about whether pet health insurance was "worth it," especially for 2 young, relatively healthy cats. However, when one developed a serious breathing problem, the costs of testing and medication quickly added up. I was nervous that I would have to fight to get the costs covered, but ASPCA Insurance covered a large portion of my costs. The process was quick, easy, and everyone I talked to was very helpful. It is so nice to know that I do not need to compromise on my cats' heath care because of concerns over the costs of procedures.
