Easy to use sign up, but disappointed in the 30 day waiting period.
Because I would expect that once I start paying my deductible that insurance would be available immediately, especially when there is a deductible. I also understand why there would be a waiting period, so that people don't just sign up and then stop the next month, but I feel as though that you could do a cancellation fee on the back end instead of a waiting period on the front end. That would make more sense and would probably get more people to sign up.

Above and Beyond what I expected
I have two dogs and made a claim for one but also received some medication for the other on the same invoice that I submitted for the dog that I took to the vet. I received texts that a claim had been submitted for both dogs (one for the dog that I took to the vet and another for the medication). I called to clarify this and was told that both the vet visit and medication were covered events. I told Katie who I was talking with that I was surprised and she was extremely helpful. Not often that you run into companies or people that correct your oversights in your favor. Truly professional with every experience and contact that I have had with Trupanion. My dogs health and care are greatly enhanced by their care and coverage.
