Good coverage, but the claim process/checking claims is awkward, and turn around time is very slow.

Nationwide offers very good coverage, but the methods for filing claims are outdated. My previous company had everything online. I only had to attach a copy of the paid invoices and fill in a brief explanation on the website. The "check status" should show all of the same information that is submitted to make it easier to track. especially if there are multiple claims in a short period of time. This is especially helpful since it takes a VERY long time for claims to process. Our previous insurance often turned our claim around within a week unless they were contacting the vet for more information. It can take over a month with NW. Hoping the process improves in the next coverage year.

Fraud!! Do not purchase

This is by far the biggest joke I have ever heard of. They will not get all of the proper information and then when they do they will deny as pre existing. Even in our case the paperwork sent was of the wrong animal completely. Have to go through appeals after appeals and nothing will be done except them pulling payments. They are a joke and we will be taking further action against them. Choose another company.
