Nationwide lives up to their word to cover your pet!
My dog has had to have quite a few x-rays and exams to find out why he has been so sick, and each time I submit a claim, Nationwide comes through on covering us. We truly appreciate their coverage.

I highly recommend pet insurance for all pet owners... It is worth every penny when it comes to your pets health and well-being. It also helps you as a pet owner to have peace of mind in knowing that can afford to give your pet the extraordinary care it deserves. This insurance is better than the insurance I have on myself!

Awesome Service, never had a bit of an issue
Everyone who has a Bulldog knows those first 2 years are the worst. These dogs have so many complications that you usually spend most of your days at the vet or at home taking care of your little chicken nugget. My bully was allergic to chicken, beef, salmon, rice, flours... you name it... we tried more than 7-10 brands of food; in addition, he is a compulsive chewer...so yeah, he ate my dinning set and walls. Emergency vet bills were super expensive. I was hesitant to get insurance for my dog but my former job provided a discount through Nationwide. Once I decided to go with the insurance, I knew I made the right choice. I am keeping Nationwide no matter where I work or go. I have never had an issue with them and they have always covered my claims. I moved out of state and went to a different vet without notice for an ear infection that costed me $400; Nationwide covered it no questions asked. The claim process is simple, the staff is super nice and professional and you’ll get a great service.

The worst insurance company ever.
Claims take forever to get back to you. When you call to inquire, you get it is still processing. Months will go by. I have been an insured since 2004. I’m seriously investigating other agencies. I have recommended nationwide to other people. They have all dropped nationwide because of poor service.

Amazing service!
We are so lucky to have insurance for Louis through Nationwide. It has been worth every penny and we’ve been reimbursed so easily without issue every time we’ve filed a claim. A couple of years ago he had to have emergency surgery and it was so nice to know that paying for it was one less thing we needed to worry about. The customer service we’ve received any time we’ve called has been stellar.

You guys are the cat’s meow!
My 2 cats have been insured through Nationwide for 1.5 years and it’s been a great experience for them (the cats) and me. The few times I needed to call were handled very professionally with agents who are pet owners themselves, so they speak my language. Always very polite.
My cats give them 2 paws 🐾 up!

Almost impossible to get reimbursed in a timely manner!!
I turned in a reimbursement claim in January and another in March for Axel. Both visits were for the same reason. It took until April to finally have the claim settled. It was only due to me calling in and speaking with a manager about the situation that it was taken care of quickly at that point. After I spoke with a manager I received reimbursement within 2 days. If you look at the case notes you’ll see that Nationwide did reach out to me for additional information regarding vet records which I turned in for a second time which occurred back back in January. I leave the country for my job for 60 days at a time and my location doesn’t lend itself to the internet. Once I returned and spoke to an agent they didn’t take this into account and never once had any urgency to take care of the claim quickly and it wasn’t until I spoke with a manager that swift action was taken. I would think as an agent looks into these cases they should evaluate each customers situation and take appropriate action without manager intervention. I shouldn’t have to work so hard to get reimbursed for a service I pay good money for to make life easier on my wife when I’m deployed out of the country.
