I have already recommended Trupanion to every pet owner I know. Trupanion is fantastic!! My dog has idiopathic epilepsy and takes a lot of medication and hospitalized frequently and I've never had a problem submitting bills or receiving quick payments. At 140 pounds the cost to care for our dog would be too much without Trupanion. thank you Trupanion!!

Not only did they process and pay in a quick and timely manner, they also followed up to see how our sweet girl was recovering. Best pet insurance. It has saved me thousands of dollars in medical bills.

For the most part, the claim process is great, but when a vet tech accidentally puts a note in the wrong place or words it correctly, it kicks out claims. If I send in an explanation, It's ignored. Also, some doctors think its a great idea to give several guesses as to what the condition could be an once those trigger words are read by the review, the claim is kicked out. I've had claims where the doctor says their going to rule out condition A, B and C and because It's mentioned in the claim, and my dog had B... bam... my claim is denied. I send in an explanation and It's "overlooked."
