The Best Pet Coverage!
We have 4 rescues that are all covered by Healthy Paws. We did have 2 of them covered by someone else but was very displeased with them. Our one baby was in pain from bladder stones. Eight hundred dollars later they were able to flush them out without surgery. Healthy Paws reimbursed at 90%. He also had an ER trip one night when he tussled with another dog and was nicked above the eye. I rushed him to the ER without thought to cost because I knew that he was covered by Healthy Paws. They are 100% the best pet coverage. No one wants to make a choice for what's best for your baby due to cost. Healthy Paws makes it so you don't have to. Thank you so much, Healthy Paws!

Medical professional gives it the highest marks!
Four years, ago when my other Jack Russell died, I seriously considered pet insurance for the very first time. I had always thought it too expensive. For my other dog, who was 11 yrs. old, I had incurred $21,000 in expenses. So I enrolled Annie at the age of 7 in the 90% covered plan. I had researched it so carefully. For the first year, nothing. Since then $1,000's - probably $10,000. Annie a relatively healthy dog, got serious allergic problems to everything - costing $4,000 in dog dermatologist bills, cutting edge meds, etc. Recently, potential cancer that turned out to be a benign tumor (that could have killed her if left untreated) - $5,500 and many other lesser conditions. Healthy Paws always sent me the reimbursement within days, they sent personal letters inquiring about Annie's health and never fail to send birthday and other holiday cards to her. They never terminate her insurance due to her significantly high expenses, nor raise the price of insurance. Obviously, we have gotten significantly more than we have paid. As a medical professional, I seek the best medical care for my dog and that costs - Healthy Paws never hesitates to pay. I love Healthy Paws!

Long Term, Very Satisfied Customer
I've been a customer of Embrace for eight years now, having insured my eight year old dachshund when he was a puppy. Purchasing insurance through Embrace was the best decision I've made for my dog. Dachshunds have a history of back problems, and frequently get IVDD, a very serious disc disease leading to paralysis if not treated surgically. Most carriers won't cover preexisting conditions, and any breed specific condition is considered preexisting if a particular breed is prone to getting it. I knew I didn't need insurance coverage for typical check-ups, but I feared what would happen if my dog ever needed back surgery. Embrace, unlike most other carriers, covers breed specific preexisting conditions, so they covered my dog for potential issues with IVDD. I had coverage for four years without using it one time. At one point, I cancelled because I felt like the insurance was a waste. I quickly rethought my decision, and reinsured my dog. Six months after I cancelled my insurance, my dog had his first incidence of IVDD. Without surgery, he would be paralyzed, and surgery cost ~$10,000. I didn't have to hesitate to give him the best care, because he was insured through Embrace. I submitted the claim, and Embrace quickly reimbursed me for my costs. Since that time, my dog has had two additional incidents of IVDD, and has required surgery each time. My premiums are expensive. I now pay around $1,100 each year to have him insured. But Embrace has paid for each of his ~$10,000 surgeries, to a tune of almost $30,000. I'm sure I'm Embrace's worst customer, but they are my favorite insurance carrier. I can't say enough about the company, and I strongly recommend insuring your pet through Embrace.

So Far, So Good
I insured my new 6 month old puppy with Embrace. I chose Embrace because of its overseas coverage due to an impending move. My pup is now 18 months and developed meningitis. Embrace has been easy to work with and true to their word. It's important to read the fine print in the policy and understand what YOUR responsibility is. It is also important to insure your pet from the earliest age possible, otherwise the pre-existing condition list could be high. But for my 6 month old rescue puppy, things have worked great so far. She's had an MRI and a spinal fluid tap, all of which have been covered. I'm the daughter of two veterinarians so I'm rather picky when it comes to medical care for my pets. Embrace has allowed me to treat and test my dog to the fullest extent possible without worrying about the financial impact on my family. This is my first experience with pet insurance, but so far I've been very happy.

ASPCA allows me to provide the best care.
My cat Shawnee has diabetes and kidney disease. She requires regular vet care, medical tests and medicine. ASPCA Pet insurance has made it possible to provide the quality of care she needs.
I recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance - it is helps me focus on enjoying the time with my girl not worrying about vet bills.

Read their fine print!!!
We were advised by our vet to get Pets Best insurance, at the time we were told that Preventive Measures "should" be covered because they lessen the chance of major problems. Our 3 year old pup had a periodontal cleaning that exposed a cracked tooth - it was extracted, nothing was covered by Pets Best.
