Peace of mind worth every penny!!!

We insure 4 dogs with Embrace and the peace of mind I have when I step into the Vets office is overwhelming!! Three of the dogs are over 12 years old and are bound to have health issues. Embrace is like a co-owner of the dogs and helps take care of them!!

Always great service

Otis is a curious pup and this year has proven to be quite the doozy! I am so glad we have this coverage as it has helped with the cost of all of his antics. I am especially grateful for the vetline as it helped me decide when to go to the vet vs. urgent care. I tell everyone I know about this service, I don't know what we would do without it. Anytime I call, everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable about the info I need. Thanks!

I have a 3# Yorkie Hope.

I have a 3# Yorkie, Hope. She is covered for my peace of mind. Knowing she's perfectly healthy is great, but knowing I'm covered if something should happen is equally important.

Saved My Dog's Life

I got the top-tier insurance option because I'm a worry wart, and I'm so glad I did. My dog ate a bunch of raisins and the vet recommended a two-day hospital stay. The insurance had no problem issuing a reimbursement for this. I don't know what i would have done without it.

I've submitted several claims covering routine veterinary charges for my puppy including neutering. Claims were easy to file online and response times from Nationwide was excellent.

billing issues

I enrolled Magnus for Major Medical Plan in January, 2018 and opted for payroll deduct through my employer. I have one other policy for my dog, Buddy on payroll deduct and have been very happy with how easy the payroll deduct has worked for both Buddy and I. I had a past policy for two years for my dog, Clarisse on payroll deduct, and this was also a very good experience. My policy for Magnus, however, has been the worst experience. I have had to contact Nationwide 8 times to get this policy on payroll deduct. I have paid $132.97 in the past 7 business days to correct the underpayment on Magnus' policy due to the absolute and utter incompetence of staff managing Magnus' plan. I am so incredibly disappointed at Nationwide's complete failure in simply setting up one policy on the same payroll deduct I have had my other two policies on, and this still has not been resolved. Nationwide used to be such a great company to do business with, and now I absolutely despise this company. Shame on you, all of you.

Worst insurance ever — don’t purchase

Basically your insurance is nothing but a fraud to garner business and try to hook customers into purchasing insurance on their pet(s). And you write the policy in such a way that no matter what happens to a customers pet you cover your business aspects by not paying because you claim it’s a secondary to a medicine that the government and states require customers to have their pets vaccinated with a rabies shot. I had faith in AKC but now all I see is big business wanting money from the little people and that they (AKC) really doesn’t care about the little people or how it constrains their life when their family member has to be hospitalized and the insurance won’t cover it because of mandatory vaccination. Shame on AKC. I will be letting all my friends and family know of how corrupt this organization truly is. Nothing but a joke to not having to pay a claim on mandatory vaccinations that caused this issue and yet I’m still paying the medical bills. Totally lost my faith in AKC.

Easy to submit claim with App, and claim approved within 10 days.

Our dog broke his front paw, I submitted the claim using the smartphone app. No problems, and my claim was approved within 10 days. Easiest insurance claim i have ever had.
