Nationwide is on your side
I guess they are good overall for an insurance company. Ive never used anyone else so dont know. THeir claim process time seems to take forever but then the last one only took 3 days which i didnt understand. I think the biggest complaint i have had is lack of communication. They dont send you emails or texts to tell you when there is an issues with your claim you just wait and have to go online to the site to figufe it out! Its really frustraiting and wastes alot of time time we could be getting it fixed and paid. The things they exclude or call pre existing is pretty extensive too but i guess most companies are only out to see how much money they can not pay out really, all insurance is a scam mostly but what are you gonna do? So i guess its not been bad so far and with these pets im glad i have something.

Easy and friendly
The communication was perfect. I was notified when they received the claim and when it was processed. Within a couple days I received a check in the mail. You made it so user friendly. Very easy to file and collect.

Nationwide did what they said they would.
Nationwide paid my dog's claims, just like they said they would.
The claims process was easy and the claims were paid fast. Me and my dog love Nationwide.
They helped us at a time of great stress on both me and my dog. I had to take my dog to the emergency hospital.
He was diagnosed with pancreaitis.

Excellent Customer Service
I had a scare with my fur baby. i had never filed a claim before and was very nervous and anxious about how to go about doing so.
i called and the person was very gracious, kind and understanding. She took the information and i needed it to be approved that day which was very short notice but they got it done. i went to my vet and had her seen which turned out to be not as bad as i thought it was and in fact didn't need to file a clam. Which was a great thing. Thank goodness for that and Trupaion people for helping me through a stressful and trying time. As all pet parents know when your fur baby is sick there is nothing you won't do for them. I also appreciated the call back to see if she was o.k.

Having to wait for reimbursement
because of having to wait for reimbursement, only getting a portion of the bill you paid, and not knowing if another company better benefits.
