Embrace is awesome
Our dog needed to have CCL (knee) surgery. Embrace quickly reviewed, covered, and issued a check for the reimbursement. I appreciate the email correspondence at every step of the process. I recommended Embrace to a friend and she immediately switched to Embrace. The switch was not only based on a better rate but she, like I, love the customer service. I would highly recommend this company to all pet owners.

Fast response and great customer service!
Can't believe how seamless a process this was. We adopted a pitbull puppy and immediately got her pet insurance. Six week later she broke her tibia bone. We got fully reimbursed for a VERY expensive surgery and all I had to do was take a pic of the vet bill and upload it to the Healthy Paws app.
I have received a phone call and voicemail, all just to check in on how my sweet pup is doing and I'm so impressed with this service.
Worth every penny and we will be Healthy Paws customers throughout this puppy's lifetime and for our future pets to come.

Great coverage and excellent customer service
Embrace's coverage is excellent and everyone that I have always emailed with or called has been so friendly, helpful, professional and finds your information really fast! Not having to worry about the insurance claims for my dog and knowing they are being handled efficiently during this difficult time not only helps financially but brings peace of mind and one less thing to worry about. The turn around from when the vet or cardiologist submitted the claim to when I received my claim payment was really fast. I received email updates to check on the status change of my claims. There were a few times I had to call Embrace during work, and I was more than appreciative that the people I spoke with both really efficient and very courteous. I am very thankful and more than grateful for everything that Embrace has done for me and my dog.

I Wish I Had Never Heard of Pets Best
I recently switched from one pet insurance company to Pets Best and a couple of months later my dog died unexpectedly from an undiagnosed lung problem (undiagnosed because she died before the test results came in). Pets Best denied my claim because it decided that a bone marrow problem she had three years previously constituted a "pre-existing condition". Obviously, the two are completely unrelated and Pets best does not allow you to speak with the people who review claims nor will they give you any information on the rational they use to deny claims.

Great Pet Insurance
Our one year old Vizsla, Gunner, had a partial stomach block. After constant vomiting, lethargy, and no appetite we decided to take him in. We ended up having to take him in to an emergency pet hospital in the middle of the night. He needed x-rays, IV, blood work, etc. and had to stay over two nights. This was the first claim we submitted. Healthy Paws was fast to process our claim. They covered everything we had anticipated on covering. They even reached out to the animal hospital to get an additional document I forgot to upload, so we didn't have to. Customer service was friendly and knowledgeable. They followed up to make sure Gunner was doing better! Thanks for keeping us worry free! Great pet insurance that actually cares about your pet.

THE BEST BY FAR
Healthy Paws have provided my Labradoor with the best possible experience to date. We have been with them for over a year and the customer service is exceptional, the refunds are quick (usually 2 business days) and the follow up care is outstanding.I could not recommend enough. Worth every penny!
4 years ago we lost our girl kitty to cancer. We didn't have pet insurance at the time and we were quickly out $5000. After that, I looked into pet insurance and got policies with ASPCA. They have been incredible in the times we have submitted claims. Never any issue in getting reimbursed.
Our older kitty who is approaching 17 is starting to have "old kitty" issues and it is reassuring to know that we can continue to give him high quality care without going into significant debt.
We will always have insurance and will continue to have our policies with ASPCA.

preventive plan is just a discount program
Paid $250 for each cat for preventive care. With a $450 bill from each, it turned out that they have a cap and deductible which maxes out at $250. I think its a scam the woman I spoke to said I should have read the policy more carefully.

Solid Service
I did a lot of research prior to choosing my pet insurance. I did so much that I got overwhelmed and walked away for awhile, and then came back to it. Embrace was the clearly the best choice when I came back with fresh eyes.
The telephone customer service is very prompt and polite. The emails are clear. The Wellness rewards are awesome (I just regret not getting the higher level of wellness rewards--it's amazing how quickly the wellness-related bills add up). I also think that the things that the insurance plans cover are ideal for the consumer and make sense.
The only thing I wasn't clear about from the beginning was having to have all the vets that my pets had seen fax over information. Additionally, asking the vet to fill out the form for an accident/illness claim is a little stressful, but I think that all pet insurances ask for this.
