Fast Efficient Service
My vet filed the claim for me. Trupanion contacted me to let me know they received the claim, kept me up to date on its status, and let me know in a couple of days whether it was approved or not, Very fast!

Great service. Easy to use.
Easy app - great for submitting claims. Communication is prompt. Only complaint is that I didn't realize parasites were an exclusion on my coverage and we live near a lake, so parasites are an ongoing problem. Wish I'd realized beforehand.

Easy to a claim
It's easy to file claim. I use their app to do it and especially since I take the bus everywhere, I file it while waiting for the bus.

Is Trupanion worth the monthly cost?
Although the monthly payments can cause you to think it is not worth it. I tell my friends that monthly prescriptions and/or a sudden illness , surgery or unexpected vet bills allows you to do all of the above without the worry of not having the money.

No answer!
I submitted my claim almost a month ago and now no one will respond to my emails and no one will answer the phone! I've tried calling five times today and haven't spoken to the claims department once! I'll be cancelling my membership.

Difficult to work with! I have heard through asking around our pet neighborhood that Embrace should not be used. my vet said you
Difficult to submit claims. Does not want to pay. Asks the vet question after question. General Exam mouth and teeth normal. Needs Dental checked number 2...means normal for a dog 2 years old. The vet looks at whiteness, , tartar, and gums. My vet said this normal for a dog and not pre-existing.
Do not get pet insurance from Embrace, you will be angry for all the time spent trying to get reimbursed and they do not know how to read claims.
I am a QA person for healthcare and believe me they are getting fired!
