TruPanion never disappoints!
TruPanion is the most reasonable insurance company I've ever dealt with. First of all, the customer service reps are FRIENDLY and KIND. Unlike auto insurance or health insurance cs reps who can be downright rude. TruPanion is fast and organized! They get your claim and immediately keep you updated on the claims process via email. I don't have to spend hours on the phone trying get through telepromts to find out the status of my claim! The underwriting is done so well because I've never been declined. They lost the conditions and situations very clearly and when they pay up, they pay a large percentage of your vet bill (almost all of it, depending). The best experience I had was when my 11 year old Maltese went into cardiac arrest and I called to see if they would cover my emergency procedures. TruPanion PRE-APPROVED me for $5,000 even though the estimated bill at the time was half of that. They were extremely kind and compassionate during this difficult time.

Healthy Paws is a Caring Company
Our Enzo was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and was not eating. We felt very secure in getting him the best care we could and Healthy Paws stood behind us and supported Enzo's care.
It is extremely rare today to find an insurance company that cares more about the person or pet having the issue than their corporate profits! Enzo and our family say thank you to Healthy Paws!

Excellent - they continue to improve their service
After my dog went for a while without any major incident (she already tore both ACLs and had surgery) I considered cancelling my policy. But I kept her insurance since accidents, by their nature, are hard to predict. And I am glad I did so.
My dog ended up needing to have multiple cysts removed, and had a growth on her eyelid that had started causing problems. She also got an ocular ulceration, and stress related colitis.
She had to be in a cone for three weeks, and that was stressful for me. But getting my claims processed and receiving payments from ASPCA pet insurance was not part of that stress. The payments came before my credit card bills were due, so I didn't have to carry any balance over to the next month. ASPCA pet insurance also called to follow up and see how my dog was doing, which helped me find out about some improvements they made to the member portal and set up direct deposit so I wouldn't have to wait for checks (or worry about missing one in the mail).

Service Review
I would recommend this company to all. They are somewhat particular is what they require in the first year-but nothing more than any other Pet insurance company dictates. I had one issue in the very beginning with out a resolution I agreed with but since they have been gold. My dog is pretty healthy but I am very glad I have Embrace in case I need it. Their customer service is A++.

Excellent overall experience
I have had nothing but an excellent experience with VPI from the ease of enrollment, very competitive rates, user friendly online website, simple claim submittal, rapid reimbursement and excellent customer service. VPI is truly the best insurance company I have ever worked with.

Overall, glad I have it
In the end, I'm really glad to have ASPCA. Submitting my first claim was a little rough because the amount submitted by the vet did not match the amount of the invoices I paid. Calling in helped resolve about 50% of the problem; like any big company patience is important when you are on the phone. The representative told me all the invoice numbers and the amounts so I could track down what was missing. Since I've submitted the claims myself, it has been great.
Bob called this morning to check on my pet and offer some encouragement. I was surprised but happy - I've never had my health insurance call me after I visited the doctor! I even had some questions about continuing care and claims now that we have a diagnosis. We have three cats insured for under $100 per month. With one incident, we are seeing a return on our investment.

A life saver!
I have 4 giant breed dogs and have had them covered for years. Recently, my dog, Bear had to have a biopsy which cost about $4,000. Embrace paid 90%. His condition is ongoing and he is feeling good and playful again. Without Embrace, I could not afford to treat his disease. During this, I had one minor claim that Embrace said they could not cover. I appealed and now this has been covered too. I can sleep nights knowing that $ won't have to be factored into my "pack's" health.

They were great
Aspca got my insurance taken care of right away when my cat Princess was sick and needed x-Rays and blood work. They were very nice and they paid for everything but my deductible. Princess is fine and I fill so much better.
