Love this Company
Gracie, our 9 year old tiny toy poodle, has had chronic eye problems. She is totally blind in her left eye and developed a cataract in her right eye. She had cataract surgery but bacteria entered the wound and caused protein development. TPA injections were administered to stop the spread of the protein. This small claim was for one of her injections but Embrace covered the bulk of her surgery and follow-up appointments. I have submitted many claims for Gracie over the years and this company is so great to work with. They are professional, kind, approachable, and really seem to care about your pet. They are like family. They are always ready to help with whatever issue there is. Every time I call, I always talk to a helpful friendly kind and professional person. I have been with this company for over 6 years and have never experienced anything but the best professional service. I wish all companies could operate as well as Embrace.

Efficient and Caring Insurance Company
After many hours of research, I chose Healthy Paws for my 2 precious labs and am so glad I did. A couple months ago I brought my black lab to the vet because she looked as if she wasn't feeling well. She seemed to lack energy and was laying around much more than usual. She would watch her sister (yellow lab) fetch in the yard as she laid quietly on the deck watching her with those sad, brown eyes. I knew she wanted to join in on the fun as she occasionally would chase after one of the balls, but she wasn't able to play for more than a couple of minutes. The vet decided to take x-rays and found that my Katie had hip dysplasia. I was shocked because I had always thought that was something that happened to older dogs and my dog was only five. After finding out from the vet how much pain my dog was probably in, I knew that I would have to see a specialist about performing surgery. I quickly called Healthy Paws Insurance and the woman I spoke with was very reassuring and let me know that they would indeed cover, after my $100 deductible, 90% of the bill. Considering the total hip replacement was over $6,000, I was amazed. I honestly thought it was too good to be true. But, they were true to their word. They even made a direct payment to the veterinary hospital, so I wouldn't have to write a check for the entire amount! I am so impressed with the caring people that work there and the company as a whole. As I am writing this review, my wonderful dog is laying beside me, shaved hip and all, looking up at me with those beautiful, brown eyes. I know that in a couple months she will be fetching balls with her sister. I am so thankful that I decided to get Healthy Paws Insurance. I will never be without it. Having this wonderful insurance gives me piece of mind that I will always be able to do what is in the best interest of my babies.

Mixed Review
This is the only pet insuranse I have ever had so I don't know if this is normal or not. I have submitted 2 claims so far. My first claim was processed within a week, the second claim has taken 2 months to process and it was for a lower amount. (Actually I still dont have the funds in my account, I just received an email yesterday saying the process was complete). Another thing threw me off - when I called to set this insurance up I was told that full coverage for dogs doesn't kick in until 6 months because detailed records are required. I was told that for cats it's about a month. I have had this insurance for 3 months now and only today received an email telling me all the coverage my cat is excluded from. I guess it just wasn't very clearly explained from the get go.
The people whom I have spoken with on the phone and received email correspondance from are very courteous and professional.

We love Nationwide Pet
Nationwide is definitely on our puppy Bently’s side! We are new pet parents and learned the hard way that we should have gotten Nationwide as soon as we picked up our puppy. That mistake unfortunately cost us $10,000 in emergency bills. Thankfully, when Bently broke his leg in April we were covered by Nationwide Pet’s Whole Pet with Wellness plan which covered 90% of the surgery costs. Everyone we’ve spoken with at Nationwide Pet has been a terrific help. And our claim status was easy to follow online. We are very pleased with our Nationwide Pet experience and have been recommending this coverage to everyone we know that has a pet! Thank you so much for the terrific experience! Fast service
I have the wellness plan and I highly recommend it. I get her flea/heartworm prevention, rawhides that help with dental cleaning, nail trim, and vaccines covered . The reimbursement is quick as well.

Excellent Pet Insurance Company
I have filed claims for a total of about $9,000, and Healthy Paws reimbursed me at 80% after I paid my modestdeductible. Healthy Paws works quickly and with a friendly style. I am most satisfied with this company!

Excellent customer service
I've had Embrace since my English Bulldog, Churchill, was a puppy. With all of the possible genetic conditions a bulldog could have, Embrace has never denied a claim.
Within the past year, Churchill has had numerous eye and ear infectionsband other allery-related issues. Embrace helped with everything. In addition, Churchill needed ACL surgery and Embrace covered the surgery and medication.they also email periodically to check in to be sure I received my reimbursement. Embrace also processes the claims within 5 business days.

Excellent support
Our Bernese Mountain puppy has suffered from repeated bladder infections. We have been very pleased with the support from Pets Best, which has been speedy and with no disputes. We also have four year Coon hound insured with Pets Best and are happy to know that he will be well covered should he need treatment.

Great service and easy!
These folks are top notch. Claims are easy and quick. Also, they are so good with paperwork and sensitivity at the same time. We had to put two of our dogs down this year at different times. They immediately updated their records after I submitted euthanasia receipts and I received handwritten condolence cards.
