My 19 lb. dog challenged a raccoon and came off the worse for wear. Emergency vet fixed her up, but it took her two weeks to get back o n all four feet. Back left foot was badly bitten, as well as wounds in face and belly. But within two weeks of TLC and lots of rest, she is back to her old self. Her insurance certainly helped allieviate the cost of emergency care. Now she is ripping and running like her old self.

We own a Pug, and he is our everything. I am so grateful we obtained pet insurance when he was young, and I am so grateful we decided on Healthy Paws (after extensive research and comparisons). I have a sweet energetic english bulldog named Gustavo and as soon as we got him my good friend told me about Health Paws. I’m really not impressed with my claim process. My chihuahua recently had major surgery for his ACL and patella and it was not cheap. I’m still waiting and fighting to get reimbursed the over $2500 surgical procedure it cost to save his life.

I've been quite happy with Nationwide overall. I like that they cover the cost of preventative meds like flea control, etc. I don't like that they don't cover the cost of GI upset. For a long while they were taking a good 30-days to pay claims, but the last two claims I submitted were paid within a week, which was great! All said, I'm quite happy with the coverage and would recommend them to others.
