I started checking into insurance plans before I even had my first puppy. I knew with large breed dogs, come large vet bills, plus all of the other health problems they are prone to. I did not want to have to make a decision between treatment or euthanasia. Embrace has the best plan out there for me. I chose the Wellness plan, plus accident and illness. They have never disappointed. They review your claims quickly and issue a check in the same prompt manner. I highly recommend to other pet owners who are looking for insurance or even for those who have never thought about it or knew that it was available.

Our dog was hit by a car resulting in a broken leg in 2 separate areas. After we took him to the vet and had his surgery, I logged on to PetsBest and took all of the steps needed to process his claim. The whole entire process was very easy. I have waited two months to get reimbursed for my bill and I keep calling needing an update but seem to get no where. My experience at first with Trupanion was great but now I have a sour impatient taste in my mouth. Trupanion wants me to pay the 71 dollar premium but can't make time to figure my claim out... that's ridiculous and the customer service representative I spoke to on Monday (Memorial Day) was so rude and not helpful. Made me sad that I invest and trust you with my pets health needs but Trupanion can't serve the customer correctly.

The only thing that I had to mark down for was that my invoices were split up into several different claims. That makes it hard to see what all went where. Toby has lot of different things going on so I think that is why it was done this way. Thanks!

I am so glad that when I brought my puppy home that I enrolled her for ASPCA pet insurance. She is now almost 3 and I still have her enrolled in the insurance they are very helpful and seem to really care about Milli's health, they will call after a claim is filed just to check on her condition and make sure she is getting better.

We have two Boxers. They LIVE to chew and they chew HARD. The male, Malcolm, also likes to swallow the evidence. He has since he was a puppy. I had to hide every toy in the house for the first 5 years and get them out only when I had time to sit in the floor and play with them. He needed watching 24/7. He could not be trusted not to eat his toys. Even got the top off a black kong toy-- the hardest one! He has had to undergo I think, 5 intestinal surgeries in his lifetime to get the toys out. He nearly died once and has lost 8 inches in his intestine. The female, McKenzie, recently went through a very scary bout with Trigeminal Neuralgia and had to be put on a feeding tube, had a reaction to that and it took a long time to recover. Trupanion was there for us every step of the way. I have always counted on them and they have never argued or balked at any request. I highly recommend them to any pet owner. You never know what issues a new puppy might have.
