Refused to Pay
This is one of the most difficult insurance companies I have ever dealt with. Have been insured for some time and when finally came to pay at claim, they wanted an inordinate about of past medical information, not even related to the current illness. My vet said they would pay well, but she was wrong. Now, after over $1200 in vet bills, I get nothing because my vet would only release info to us and was not convenient for me as a busy physician. Otherwise, it was okay

SIMPLY OUTSTANDING
Competitive Costs
Simple process for filing of claims
Great customer support and timely reimbursement of claims
These guys even called me a few months into my initial year of coverage for my two dogs, to remind me that I had the insurance and that I might want to read over what it provides in the way of this or that, as I might be missing occasions to file a legitimate claim.
These guys are just too good! OUTSTANDING!!!

Embrace is reliable
I compared all of the pet insurance options I could find online and also those provided by my vet. Our family chose embrace because it was a very thorough coverage for our two dogs and the price, although not cheap, was fair. In our first year of being insured each of our dogs ended up hospitalized. One for gastrointestinal issues and the other had a torn CCL. Embrace was not only true to their coverage, but it was provided in a timely way with excellent customer service. We would have had a much harder time deciding on the quality of care we provided our beloved furry ones if we did not have the support of Embrace to help us through the hardship of sickness and vet bills.

Awful Service - don't return messagesand don't pay
I have used this service for about 3 years. I tried to cancel once, but was called and convinced to keep it at a lower rate. The very first claim I make was for an anal gland abscess in my dog. I submitted the claim with all the proper paperwork and it took about a week, but they got back to me and said it would be a week or so, but may be a couple of weeks since it was the first claim. Fast forward to a month later, and still nothing. I even got a customer satisfaction survey from them asking about my claim experience. I was so frustrated with this time delay that I sent a rather harsh email back to them, telling them I would be canceling my service once the claim was settled. Two weeks later and still nothing, so I go to check my account online and see that I've been locked out and need to call customer service. I then email them to cancel my account, stating that I will not pay any more premiums and to cancel immediately. The next day, I get charged for the next premium, and still no response to any of my emails. This company is like any other insurance company, trying to get away with as much as possible to not pay. I'm thinking it's kind of fishy that I told them I would cancel once I heard about the claim, and they stretched it to the next premium payment (and I still haven't heard from them). AVOID this company.

Amazing Pet Insurance!
I'm so thankful for ASPCA Pet Insurance. They are always there to answer questions and process claims quickly. They have great systems in place, so you can submit and track claims ALL online. They have helped pay for a couple of surgeries and check on Diego after each one. I recommend this insurance to all pet owners. It has been a life and money saver!

unimpressed -tick bite not covered
I didn't know a tick was not an insect. They don't cover tick bites because they call them parasites, which are not covered. Semantics. I cancelled them. They DID cover an injury earlier, but one has to pay a lot more to get decent coverage. They never return emails. Because of that word play, I will not renew with them, but will seek out others

So thankful we chose this option for our boy!
I had been considering pet insurance for a couple years but after browsing online had never really found a plan that looked like it would be worth it to get. After a conversation with a friend who raved about having insurance for her dog after a serious of injuries and illnesses, I decided to look into it again. My handsome dog was not getting any younger after all. I wanted a plan that would cover us under worst case scenarios. Embrace allowed us to set out insurance plan up exactly as we wanted it. You get insurance hoping you'll never have to use it. Unfortunately this year, use it we did.
Several months ago they found a lump in my dog's anal sac that turned out to be cancer. We were (and still are) devastated. The insurance gave us the peace of mind to seek more than one opinion on how to move forward with his care. The insurance allowed us to make the best decisions possible for our dog, without having to worry about costs. His cancer appeared about half way through the first year of our policy (although it took several months to determine it was cancer). In August he was given weeks to months to live based on the significant spread. As of December we have used about $7,000 of the $10,000 coverage we purchased and I just received a renewal letter for our coverage in January. I worried they might not renew his policy given his condition, but was happy to see they did.
My dog was a relatively healthy dog for this first 7-8 years of his life - no major issues. And then one day, he wasn't, and I have been so thankful that we made the choice to go with an Embrace pet insurance policy!
