I understand the policy, I just dont agree with it. Dogs are put to sleep for dental work and if they have to have teeth pulled that requires pain meds and sometimes stitches. That should be covered. I did not get the wellness policy because that"s 23.00 per month or $276 per year and you only reimburse $100.00. "

Our 2 yr old Frenchie had aspiration pneumonia twice. To mitigate chances of getting it again, tests were needed and potential surgery. Healthypaws was a great help when it came to the expenses for getting our dog healthy again. There was no fuss working with Healthypaws. Very easy and timely responses.

Dog was diagnosed with EPI AT two, had TTA surgery at 6, and now has had a mast cell tumor removed.Trupanion has paid all claims at 90 % minus my 200 deductible. This would have caused a financial hardship on our family without Trupanion. We see the oncologist next week and A Trupanion rep told me all the treatments are covered for her Mast Cell tumor. What a relief. I really want my girl to beat this.

Nobody wants to need pet insurance but its so vitally important when you do need it. My 4 year old sphynx developed anorexia and dehydration suddenly and needed 3 days in emergency vet care with IV fluids and antibiotics. Claim was for 12/10/16 and 12/12/16. Embrace made the process easy. All questions and talking with Embrace representatives were pleasant. Extremely satisfied with answers and making sure I understood what was needed to facilitate claim. Glad I have the insurance.

I was on the fence but ended up purchasing insurance for our new rescue dog. While I hoped we wouldn't need it....it seemed like a smart idea and after a lot of research we chose Healthy Paws.
