Have had Embrace since we obtained our pet. We’ve had two major claims (conditions common to the breed) and each time we were reimbursed within 7-10 days. Filing medical claims electronically and receiving reimbursement directly deposited to our bank account is very convenient. Wellness claims likewise are fulfilled without delay.

I love Nationwide Pet Insurance
Nationwide he always helped me out with my Pet Insurance Claims. They are always in communication with me and they are timely with their Claim Return. They are also always kind and understanding.

You can count on Nationwide for coverage of your family pet.
Because Moonlight is covered by Nationwide i don't have to worry about whether or not I have the money to have her treated or tested. And, she has had a few medical problems. I'm grateful to my veterinarians at Companion Animal Hospital for saving her life a few years ago and keeping her healthy. It's a good team, CAH, Nationwide, and Moonlight.

Rate your pet insurance company
I have been very happy with your insurance. I have had it for seven years now. I found out the hard way with our last Schnauzer. We had to put her down at three years old. her illnesses were quite costly. Having insurance for Katy has been wonderful. My only gripe is that it seems to take a long time to get payments for claims. I know you have a disclaimer stating that it may take up to 30 days for payments but it seems to take a long time to get paid even if it's just for one prescription. That has been my only "complaint".

Good coverage and easy claims
The plan we have is great coverage for a decent price (we’re willing to spend the little extra per month than we already spend to have peace of mind). Claims are easy to make through the app. I do wish they would combine the website and app with other Nationwide sites so you don’t have to go through multiple sites to view all of your insurance products. Sometimes claims can take a while (4-6 weeks) to be settled.

Glad we have Nationwide Insurance
We had a shepherd who got a broken leg, and later in life we found out that when they spade her it was not done right. $1500.00 for the leg and just under $5000.00 for the 1 surgery. That wasn't all. She had other things here and there but it gave her couple of more years longer. So after the heartbreak of losing our precious dog it took 3 years to want another dog. There was no way we were not getting pet insurance. We read up on all of them and Nationwide sounded the best. The only place our dog has been is the groomers and kennel besides walks. In the time she got sick were thinking she got sick at the kennel. She has had her shots but it doesn't help with all strands. She's been sick twice so we have to find another kennel. It was over $300.00 for vet visits. We got a refund back. Our portion is paid for the year so if anything happens to her or she gets sick we are covered which you never want anything to happen to them but at least you have a piece of mind knowing you can help your pet. We didn't think we'd need to use the insurance until she got older. You never know !

Excellent Communication

Claims process and website needs some adjustment
Navigating any insurance company and the claims process takes time and feels as though there were a lot of issues along the way. If you are in the business of customer care, please take the time to review the process for a new customer to submit a claim, navigate the different systems and apps to get payment. For example, you provide an easy way to submit the receipts on an app, but it is a 3rd party app and required me to make 2 calls to get it set up properly. I have never had to call for help to set up an app before! And the Nationwide rep wouldn't help me at all - but referred me to the 3rd party. Then payment comes from Chase online, which was another set up of an account, linking to my bank, etc.
Once all of that is set up, things work. But goodness it is a LOT of work to get it to that point. And now I have to someone remember all of this for the next claim that may not come for several months.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is wonderful
