Us and Lola are always taken care of!
Lola has had some had luck this year with a stay in the animal hospital, then an eye infection and then a foot infection. Perfectly healthy before this past few months but it helps us know our pet insurance plan has helped us along the way!

Very good insurance, painless claim submission process
The insurance is a bit expensive but I haven't had any trouble with getting reimbursed for claims in a reasonable amount of time (10-14 days). Submitting is easy too, on my phone with the app. Overall, very good insurance and I plan to get it again for next year. I recommend this coverage.

Peace of mind.

Paid my claim

Long time customer; highly recommend
Always offering the best pet insurance coverage.
Processing of claims has gotten much slower than it used to be. Claims used to be processed within 2 weeks, now it’s taking a month or longer.
Regardless, the claims are getting processed, my dogs are getting the services they need!

Nationwide has been very fair and responsive with all of Abby's claims
We have used Nationwide (formerly VPI) since 2002 for all of our pets and have gotten a good response.

Reliable, compassionate and quick to pay!
My terrier/terror got into something that turned out to be inedible and I really appreciate Healthy Paws' swift attention to our claims, and for helping enable us to provide all the medical attention that was needed. We opted for 90% coverage and there was never a disputed claim-the check arrives within days.

Wish I had signed up sooner!
I had illness insurance with another provider for the first year I got my dogs and Nationwide is 100x's better. Now I have sickness AND wellness visits and it costs me the same price. Submitting claims is super easy and I receive reimbursement within 30 days of submitting a claim. I tell every pet owner to get a quote now.
