Excellent Pet Insurance - Enabled My Puppy to Have Emergency Eye Surgery!
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is wonderful. My puppy, Kali, work up one morning and was having difficulty opening her one eye. Over the course of 1-2 days, she was no longer able to open her eye. I knew something was seriously wrong and I wanted to see a Vet Ophthalmologist (since she was only 14 months old). Having Healthy Paws Pet Insurance gave me the piece of mind to book an urgent appointment with the specialist, because I knew 80% of Kali's vet bill would be reimbursed to me. Kali needed emergency surgery to protect her vision and Healthy Paws covered both the emergency consultation plus all the surgery fees. Kali is doing well and her eye looks fantastic.

Forever thankful to Healthy Paws
My dog recently had to undergo back surgery and I was so worried. Thanks to Healthy Paws for being there for him, their care and professionalism has been the best. We have been with Health Paws for most of his life and this was the best choice I could made to insure my dog has the protection if it is needed.The customer service has always been excellent and have addressed my concerns or issues incredibly quick. Good coverage
Coverage is good, I've had coverage on my now 9.5 yo bloodhound who has had multiple surgeries. Cost has gone up each year some years much higher than previous but I'm assuming that's due to surgeries. However, it's still cheaper than any other comparable company. Bummer that When I tried to add my puppy 3 years ago her initial monthly cost was very high, higher than I had paid for my older dog when I first took out the policy I couldn't get a straight answer as to why. Helped a friend process a claim for her dog through Trupanion and their claim process is cumbersome...definitely not as easy as HP. Reimbursements are very fast. Customer service is usually excellent.
