A disreputable company

Trupanion will find a way not to cover whatever it is that is wrong with your pet. The agents are so nice and smooth, and give you false information fro Day One. From preexisting conditions to exclusions, they will not cover diagnostics or treatment. You are not safe with this company, even though the agents will assure you that you are-up until you get the written denials!.

Submit claims from my smart phone

Petsbest pet insurance is the easiest to file a claim I do it from my smart phone now instead of having the vets office fax it I can do it immediately after the vet visit with my cats.

Problem with per incident

I have a problem with the per incident instead of per year deduction. I have been paying for over 8 years and have never had a total over the deduction-I know this is a good thing but it seems like I've been paying for something I can never use.. It bothers me a little. I know insurance is a just in case thing but I've paid an extra $5,000 plus the bills. Just saying.

I love this company

I know nothing about insurance, but knew I needed to get it for my puppy just in case. It was honestly the best decision I ever made. Whenever I have questions - which is a lot of the time - I sign onto my account and chat with the customer service team. I get clear answers that I can understand and an email of the conversation sent to me. I've never had a problem or a situation where the customer service representative didn't know the answer. They are so helpful. I also love how much they cover. Between the monthly flea, tick, heart worm, and getting my dog spayed - the amount I've been reimbursement is incredible. I can't express how much I appreciate and love this company.

Overall Worth it

Overall, the pet insurance has definitely been worth the money. It gives me peace of mind when I think something may be wrong, and the wellness plan has helped me pay for vaccines and flea treatments. The only thing is the claims take a bit of time to process, but even then it usually isn't longer than a month.

Claim process is long and difficult

Recently the claim process is extremely long and have had a hard time getting claims approved- often need resubmitted for wrong coding or contact vet for more info despite info already sent. It seems like underwriters are looking really hard for any reason not to pay claims. Have been a customer for 8 years and this is the first year I have felt this from the company.
