I am very happy that I have Nationwide pet insurance. The insurance covers most of the expenses. Submitting claims is easy. The peace of mind can't be underestimated.

I have two dogs with Nationwide Pet Insurance. My experience has been, positive and consistent with answering claims and I enjoy the peace of mind I have with regular check-ups, maintaining the health with monthly medications and in the event of an emergency with my "furkids".

Claims are processed within a few days but I have not yet seen the direct deposits which apparently take a week or so.

My 10 month old Great Dane puppy, Brutus, got very sick very suddenly. We suspected a blockage, but when all the conservative tests came up inconclusive we needed to go in and do an exploaratory surgery to find out what was going on. When there was nothing but inflammation, they took biopsies to send off to be analysed. They came back for IBD, and with probiotics and prescription food we are hoping to manage it. Without pet insurance, I would have had to make a hard decision as this was almost 6000$ to find the cause. If you don't have pet insurance, get it now!

I have had enormous vet bills with pets in the past and would only take them to the vet if absolutely necessary because of the worry of the cost. Now I have no worries. If Walker is sick or injured and needs care I will take him without the worry or stress of the cost. Completely worth the monthly cost.

We are so so thankful for Healthy Paws! Our two year old pup had surgery and unfortunately experienced a difficult recovery. We were absolutely devastated and unsure whether or not she would pull through. As difficult as all of this was, having Healthy Paws and not having to worry about the financial aspect of her care, made everything that much easier. I felt better knowing that as long as she was able to push through we wouldn’t have to give up on her. Whatever test or treatment she needed, we were able to do. Our sweet girl is doing much better now, and we have already received a check from Healthy Paws with no hassle at all. We can't recommend Healthy Paws enough!
