Excellent Pet Insurance

Excellent insurance. We were recommended by a friend to join Trupanion and are so glad we did. Recently our dog needed to have surgery on an ACL injury and the claims were paid soon after. They kept in contact by e-mail with every update on our claim. Previous to this we had another issue with her health and this was also paid. We are very pleased with Trupanion and have recommended it to other fiends and family. Thank you for such good care

This year we definitely saved money

We have insured both our dogs and cat with the plan. For an indoor cat, we have never used the plan but I feel good knowing I have it. Some years I don't use it at all for the dog, and other years - like this one - we've used it a lot. Claims are processed quickly and the paperwork is easy. My only complaint is the "reasonable and customary" charges. We live in a very expensive part of the country. I don't ever get back 80% of my vet bill after the deductible. It's closer to 60%. Even with that, I'm still ahead this year and that's counting paying my premium for another 6 months.

Professional and Compassionate

My Afghan Hound became suddenly and seriously ill, and spent 4 days at a university associated hospital before coming home to recover. I emailed my claims (which I have found to be the most efficient and successful mehtod of communication) and they kept me updated on where they were in the process. When I called to inquire about a possible payment date because the bill was so large I was promised that it would be expedited, and indeed it was. They gathered together all of his recent claims and paid them all at the same time. They paid everything the policy indicated would be covered - no questions, no problems. And when my dog passed away a month later I recieved several emails expressing sympathy and was encouraged to submit any final claims even if I had to send them after his policy ended. And now I have received a heartwarming book full of stories of love and loss. Embrace is the ultimate pet insurance company, covering traditional and alternative treatments, living up to the terms of its policies, and offering both professional and compassionate responses to its clients. What more could you possibly ask for?

Working with Embrace

We've had Embrace for close to 3 years on our Boxer and we continue to have consistent service. Our claim is recognized right away with an email lettting me know it's been received and how long they anticipate we will wait to see if claim is payable. I notice if it's been longer I get an email acknowledging that and apologizing, how professional. Often a little courtesy goes a long way and I appreciate the consideration. Now, if insurance companies for humans offered the same courtesy...! I'm not saying we never had to wait or contact Embrace re status of claim but I always feel like when I do someone is taking care of it.

Quick results and great communication

Since starting early this Summer with Embrace, we have had only positive interactions. My recently adopted pup decided to fetch a stick out of a wood pile and received a shard of wood in his eye. After several visits to the vet, his eye is now healed and I promptly received communication and the final reimbursement for this claim. If there were any issues, I had email communication immediately. I am very pleased thus far.

Healthy Paws, The Best!!

Our one year old lab underwent abdominal surgery due to a possible foreign body obstruction. After 2 visits, xrays and ultrasounds it was determined that she needed the surgery. Turns out she had ingested the small head of a stuffed dog toy which had become lodged in the small intestine. She did very well and was home the following night after the surgery. I nearly required CPR after seeing the costs for the visits, the surgery, tests and associated fees. Healthy Paws was amazing!! Claims were processed immediately and in less than 2 weeks I had the reimbursement checks in hand. I paid my $250.00 deductible and the office visit fee and the rest was reimbursed at 90% as per my policy. If only our health care plans could be so efficient and straight forward. The customer service staff is caring and genuine. Always inquiring about the status of our dog. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws. We used another insurance company for our other dogs in the past and there were always exclusions and hidden surprises that were not covered. Thank you to Healthy Paws for making a very sad and scary situation much less of a financial burden than we had originally thought.

Couldn't be more pleased!!!

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws prompt and compassionate response to a first claim made for our10 year old female labrador, who recently underwent surgery. The claim was straightforward to complete, and the reimbursement very fair. Our family will strongly recommend HealthyPaws to anyone researching quality pet insurance.
