The most convenient insurance
My dog is 9 years old, and every time he gets sick and fills out the form, he gets a response immediately, and basically gets money from the company soon.

So far I'm pleased. My dog has a condition that requires her to be on medication and special good. I am sorry that the food isn't covered.

Terrible Insurance - Avoid at all costs
I experienced the same frustrations and failures of service that many, many, many other customers have experienced with Figo Pet Insurance.
It is amazing to me that, having had so many complaints about the same issues, over and over again, Figo continues to act in a purposefully misleading manner and continues to fail in providing customer service.
First, “pre-existing condition” seems to mean “your pet was alive when you got this insurance” and they simply flat out refuse to cover any medical issues at all. I have attempted to make 3 completely justified claims, all clearly allowed by my policy, and Figo has given the same reason for denying my claim all three times: not allowed due to a “pre-existing condition.”
The key example is that my dog had to have two teeth removed, $1,300 for each tooth, for a total of $2,600 in fees. My insurance has a $1,000 deductible, so I was assuming I would get $1,600 back. I submitted my claim and, within a few hours, received my rejection due to “pre-existing condition.”
Figo indicated that a vet examination (WHILE my dog was covered by insurance) identified a fracture on ONE of the teeth, but not the other. IF I am willing to accept that this one tooth wasn’t covered (due to the vet identifying a “likely carnassial fracture,” even though my dog was still covered by insurance), then the other cracked tooth SHOULD be covered since it was NOT identified by the vet during the previous exam.
Yep, you guessed it, Figo rejected my claim for BOTH teeth, citing the vet report. Basically, my dog was not covered for ANY dental emergency of any kind because he had ONE problem with ONE tooth previously. An absolute joke, and a clear case of fraud.
After multiple attempts at communication with Figo customer service, they essentially just copied and pasted the same response back to me…ie… “pre-existing condition, pre-existing condition.”
FIGO insurance will make every attempt to refuse a payout if they can and will use “pre-existing condition” as the excuse.
This insurance is a complete waste of money; not only am I out the money for my pet’s treatment, I am also out the premiums for this 100% useless pet insurance.
Read the reviews online carefully and you will see the complaint over and over again. FIGO pet insurance does NOT payout, they look for any reason to claim “pre-existing condition” and then reject your claim.

My corgi and TPLO surgery
My corgis are my world. I have two. They are not only a financial investment but also a heart healthy investment. To me they are not just dogs. So I knew when I got my first one that I was getting medical insurance for them the same as I did when I had my human children. And I’m very glad I did. When my first corgi boy was 3 he ruptured his CCL and had to have TPLO surgery. I was unfamiliar with the severity of the injury and the extent of the surgery and rehab that followed. All I could think about and care about was getting him fixed and back to his 100% self. The cost of it all was in the thousands of dollars but my mind was at ease because I knew that I had been proactive and carried insurance. The folks at HealthyPaws were phenomenal in handling my claims and showed true empathy and compassion towards my pup and me throughout the entire 3 month journey. I was able to focus solely on my pup and had peace of mind that the cost of it all was not an issue for me. Because of HealthyPaws fantastic coverage I was able to get top shelf medical care, surgery and therapy for him. Now here we are 4 yrs later same pup is now 7 yrs old and he repeated the same injury in the opposite knee. Here we go again through the very same scenario as before with surgery, rehab etc. and just like before HealthyPaws as come through for us again with flying colors! We recently added our second corgi to the family and one of the items on the list of must haves was pet insurance and this time it was a no brainer who I was contacting. I did not have to research what company was best for us because I already knew. Premiums are very affordable but the peace of mind that HealthyPaws provides is priceless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would recommend Healthy Paws
I adopted a terrier mix end of year 2023, and fortunately decided to take out pet insurance. This is something that I have never done before, but after my last dog of 12 years who had mast cell cancer I had spent a small fortune on vet and surgical bills. I am so glad that I decided to take out the insurance - come to find out the hard way that my terrier is extremely allergic to bees. We had an emergency trip to the vet, she went into anaphylactic shock and had to be treated. She is now taking injections for desensitization. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws insurance enough - it is so easy to submit a claim and they reimburse quickly. I had to call their customer service number and was very happy with the level of service.

SCAM!
This is by far the worst insurance experience of any kind, every excuse made to deny our claim and also impossible to cancel the policy. THIS is simply most terrible operation. STY AWAY FROM IT.
