I am totally confused about what you consider acceptable for reimbursement. Yes my dog had an ear infection when I bought her in February. I did not have pet insurance as I was just taking her to the vet to get checked out. They discovered the ear issue. I then submitted a claim because she had developed a blister on her toe at the boarding kennel. I had already had an appointment with my vet to get her rabies shot so I did not take her in for a few days. You denied my claim because you say that her ear issues goes with the blister as an allergy. I do not understand this . It is not the money but the idea that you disagree with the ears and foot issue. I am just sad that I pay my premium and got denied when I see no correlation between the two issues.

I feel that the coverage is pretty comprehensive and the premium is affordable.
I feel that the coverage is pretty comprehensive and the premium is affordable. The few times that I have had to contact customer service, their response has been prompt, courteous, and efficient. The one claim that I made was paid very quickly.

Shannon was awesome.
Shannon was awesome. She was totally understanding of our cat’s ongoing diagnostic needs and assured me that since our vet is connected with trupanion’s software, there is no need for me to file the claims which is a huge relief! We travel full time and it isn’t always easy to do paperwork.
