Our girl, Ruby, was diagnosed with a tumor in her pancreas that absolutely had to be removed. It was also making so much excess insulin in her body that she couldn't regulate her blood sugar, so she had a seizure. Because she was unstable and needed specialized surgery, she was hospitalized for over a week in the ICU. This round the clock care and intensive surgical procedure were the only way for her to have a good prognosis, and without Embrace we would have had to make a different decision: one based solely on money rather than what was best for Ruby. Ultimately, that is why we got insurance and chose Embrace. We never wanted to have to choose to not provide the best care for the best outcome because of financial burden. The hospital submitted our claim, 3 days later Embrace emailed me that they'd received it, and then 3-4 days later our reimbursement was in my bank account. I didn't even have to wait for a check in the mail! And when I called two different times with questions, they were happy to help and explain everything I needed clarification on. I could not be happier with their claims process and customer service.

Mina had the surgery, and all went well but she had complications after & was in critical care for 3 days. I only signed up a couple months ago and already have had to file a claim after my cat ingested a toxic amount of vitamins. She recovered well and Healthy Paws was so quick to turn the claim around. I was so happy I had pet insurance when my dog had unexpected post-surgical complications after his neuter. He was cryptorchid, meaning the surgeon had to retrieve one of his testicles from his abdominal cavity. He suffered from several complications after the surgery, requiring three additional surgical procedures, a week of hospitalization and 6+ weeks of medications. The Embrace team has covered every accident & illness claim I've submitted, which saved us financially. Being insured gave me the peace of mind to tell the surgical team to do whatever was necessary to heal our puppy, no matter the cost.

I have had this insurance for my 2 dogs for 3 years. One of my dogs has Leishmania and Pets Best has always helped me with the expenses of the Vet bills. I have never had any problem with any claim. I am completely satisfied.Now I have moved to Canada and I have had to cancel my policy because, sadly, there is not Pets Best here. Amanda (in the Live Chat) has been very helpful and professional. She helped me out with all my questions, even remembering me and previous conversations we had. She is as good as Pets Best insurance. I highly recommend this pet insurance to anyone who has pets.

We signed up with Healthy Paws right after adopting our dog. She's a ball of energy so her vet recommended that we get insurance. We're so glad that we did! She ruptured her ACL and needed surgery. Surgery for dogs is expensive! Healthy Paws did not give us the run around or try to deny coverage and processed our claim quickly. Their website is pretty clear about what is covered and their cusomer service agents are very knowledgable. I have their iphone app and it makes filing claims easy. Even after paying the claim, a Healhy Paws representative emailed us to make sure our little girl was recovering well.
