Thanks for your help with my first claim and answering my questions about my policy. The rep was pleasant, helpful and I would recommend AKC Pet Insurance to everyone. The only drawback is not having a patient portal online...but she said they're working on one.

I've had pet insurance with other companies and Healthy Paws is by far the best. No "reasonable and customary" amounts, no incident caps. I did a ton of research about insurance companies after a bad experience with my last one, and I am happy to report that all the positive things I've read are absolutely true. Great customer service, prompt payment, and everything is straightforward. I highly recommend them.

My 9 year old Papillon has enjoyed excellent veterinary care with Trupanion coverage and direct billing within the veterinarians that have helped us during this recent illness. I have seen true value in my premiums paid, as a senior citizen, that means alot to my very precious dog and me.

I'm EXTREMELY happy and impressed how Healthy Paws Pet Insurance handled my situation. My boy dog Bogie (Yorkie mix) did swallowed part of a peach pit that, of course, got logged and created a dangerous situation. On top of it, it was on a Sunday. So I had to bring him to the emergency vet where I was told he needed surgery right away. After they shared the cost for all the services they would needed to do, I got right away in touch with Healthy Paws to make sure I was covered and I could give the go ahead to the surgeon. Not only where they genuinely very concerned for Bogie but assured me right away that there was no question that the surgery should and could be done and I was covered by them. Thankfully, all went well and Bogie is back to his mischievous self! And after submitting my claim with the necessary supporting docs, they processed my it fast and without me having to jump through hoops. No wonder they are the best! I will highly recommend them to all my friends with pets as you never know when something might happen to them. I for sure never thought I will have to use them. But my better safe then sorry mentality did save me from having to pay a very large sum for this emergency!

I really hadn't used my pet insurance until a few weeks ago. My young dog became very seriously ill. To make a long story short, I am beyond grateful that (a) I had invested in pet insurance long ago and (b) the claim filed by the vets office on my behalf was accepted and processed so quickly. I will gladly recommend anyone with a pet invest in pet insurance. It's been a blessing during a very difficult (and expensive) time.

When we got our dobe puppy (a rescue) the vet suggested pet insurance. I did some research and purchased it. that was 9 years ago. I have never been disappointed with the coverage for illnesses. I now have 3 dogs and they are all covered. My last claim was a whopper! I was so happy to have the insurance.

Super quick turn around time on claims and exceptional service from their staff. Our lab had a ccl tear, it's as easy as snapping picutres of your bill and submitting your claim through their easy to use app. They even checked in afterwards to see how she was doing. Definitely worth every penny!!

Our boy Ranger had three growths that needed to be removed, two were earlier diagnosed as lipoma, but one was huge and the other one in the leg muscle, so the vet suggested to take them out. We had blood work done before deciding on the surgery, since he is almost 11 yrs old. Sadly, one of the lipomas tested as a nerve sheath tumor :(. But anyway, I send the invoices from the blood draw and the surgery in and we got the surgery claim processed and paid out. I send an email that the blood work was just done at another time but for the surgery and got a phone call, that this will be taken care off for me. A few days later we received the payment for that as well. Thank you for excellent customer service!
