The hold up was Trupanion receiving medical records from earlier vet. After the vet forward and I forward the record, Trupanion still didn't post that they had the record. And then when new claims were submitted it was like it an automatic message that the records were missing.

When our pug Trevor was hit by a car - I was happy that we were fully covered by Pet Insurance. I was able to provide Trevor with the best care possible to help this horrible accident and injury be put behind us. It was a long recovery period-but he is now on the mend. Our yellow Lab Yumi is only six years old and a cancer surviver. During her cancer treatment I was advised to buy pet insurance from Trupanion, even though the cancer treatments would not be covered. I almost didn't, figuring what good would it do to have another bill to pay during this difficult time? What else could possibly go wrong? Well, I am so thankful I did, because seven or so months after I enrolled her, she was cancer free but had an unrelated and very sudden and very severe attack of pancreatitis. Despite having the best care available to her, Yumi was given only a 50/50 chance of survival the night she was admitted to a level 2 ICU at the vet hospital. She spent five nights there, was discharged, but returned to ICU less than three weeks later with a relapse for three more nights of care. Trupanion made her treatments possible. Without Trupanion her care would have been prohibitively expensive and I shudder to think what our alternative would have been with her is such agony for so long. Trupanion's assistance allowed her to have the life saving plasma and other specialty transfusions she desperately needed, along with routine supportive care and close monitoring, without which she very well may have died. We are very pleased to have insured our beloved yellow labrador retriever with ASPCA. Through the past two years we have had very pleasant dealings when we submitted claims. I can honestly say this is completely worth the costs in quality of service and results.

So happy that I found this insurance. The people that have worked with me since I enrolled have been nothing but amazing! Responded to my emails within 24 hours or less, validated my frustrations, and did everything they could to help me. If nothing else I feel better knowing that I have them looking out for my dog. Even though my claim was to early to get money back, my customer service rep got me 50+ dollars back almost immediately because of my wellness rewards. Enough said :)

I purchased ASPCA Insurance for my new Blk Lab Puppy in hope that I would never need. During running exercise he tore his ACL and was operated on in July. I submitted the claim for approximately $4,000.00 dollars and within teo weeks received a check for 3100.00 reimbursement. I can see enough about the customer service and their prompt payment of the claim. If you have a new puppy, get this insurance, I had zero issues with ASPCA, they are great!

Although my experience with being an Embrace customer is short lived, I have, however, had occasion to make a claim for my 6-year old dachshund who was diagnosed with SARDS. The live interaction with the Embrace employe who helped me through my first claim process was a pleasant one. He was courteous and very helpful in the steps I needed to take, emailed me the claims form. The claim determination took a few weeks, but that is to be expected. I received a satisfactory disposition on my claim and a check is in the mail! Doesn't get any better. I am so glad I decided to go with Embrace and purchase pet insurance for my TWO dachshunds. It provides peace of mind for those unexpected, unwanted and costly procedures which sometimes are required. A happy camper!! Joyce B

I thought people insurance was bad; these folks will do anything to get out of paying. Took me months to just get denied and for puppy stuff and I had the 90% plus plan....all the minute excuses for not reimbursing me and having a different start date on file as well. I also had to keep resubmitting my claims because they couldn't read the one's I faxed, the Vet invoices that gave details wasn't enough they had to get the Vets "notes", wouldn't cover a preexisting condition for a puppy with Giard. Don't waste your time or money!!!
