Nationwide insurance has literally been a life saver
A couple months ago we had a crazy scare with our beloved Raúl, our 6 y/o Newfoundland dog. He ended up needing emergency surgery for a left liver lobe torsion. Under great veterinary care he survived and recovered, and because of our coverage with nationwide or wallets also has a quick recovery! I was impressed by the empathy expressed about my dogs condition when I called to ask questions when he was in surgery, and the turn around time to receive payment for our claim was very fast. I recommended nationwide to everyone that I know has a pet or that is thinking about becoming a pet owner. It’s literslly been a life saver.

Easy to file a claim
It was easy to file the claim. I was disappointed it was denied, but that was my fault for even filing it. Had I read the policy I would have noticed I was not at the two weeks needed to file a claim

Claim was handled expeditiously, fairly and with a very complete, understandable written explanation.
Without the written explanation of the breakout of parts of the claim, I would have had to get a telephonic or added written paperwork...as professionally written by Ms Debbie Lombardo, RVT, I had no cause to nitpick or otherwise need any further discussion. Overall, I would like to commend EMBRACE for the entire process of the claim admin, and your staff.

For the most part, I'm happy with the service.
For the most part, I'm happy with the service. I'm not please that 2 of Gunnar's visits were considered pre-existing. How are we to know if he had anything when we got him, which is the entire reason for bringing him in for a well puppy visit. We had Gunnar for a little over 3 weeks prior to getting his first appointment. We purchased his insurance the day we got him but of course there's a waiting period for it to become effective.

Process was easy, professional with receiving a check back quickly
This was my 1st time having pet insurance, so I was somewhat sceptical about the process, but the form was easy to complete and the return was sent in a timely fashion. Would and did recommend this insurance to other pet owners.
