My dog is 9 years and 9 months old. She was diagnosed in May 2013 with diabetes. She will be on insulin the rest of her life. A 58 day supply of insulin and syringes is $125.99. Trupanion has paid 90% of this cost. The turn around time from the day I send the claim form until I receive reimbursement averages 25 days. Trupanion also covered 90% of the extensive testing that was required to properly regulate her insulin dosage.

I have had Embrace Insurance for my Bull Mastiff she since was 8-weeks' old. The past 2-1/2 years w/Embrace standing behind her health and well-being have been very reassuring and comforting to me. They have been there for her routine canine well being and her mischievous acts affecting her health. Laura Bennett and the entire Embrace Team make having pet insurance well worth every dollar and are eager to make the process easy! I look forward to adding a new puppy to our policy come the end of December when a French Bulldog puppy arrives for Xmas.

My dog Max is an energetic Golden Doodle. In his short life he has eaten two socks, had surgery on his toe, and been injured at day camp. My 6 month old german shepherd, Nylah got a hold of a bottle of ibuprofen. Unfortunately she injested 14 pills. Thankfully, I live close to our veterinary, we were able to get her there within 20 mins - just in that amount of time she was frothing at the mouth. The Veterinary immediately began the protocol for Ibuprofen Toxicity. Her baseline bloodwork showed that her kidney and liver levels were high in which the Veterinary explained that the ibuprofen had begun some damage. To help flush her organs Nylah was kept at the vet for 48 hrs on fluids along with gastroinstestinal medications. Nylah was released and her kidney and liver levels are back to normal. There is no guarantee no damage was done to her kidney/liver, but if there is it's very minimal. A month later and Nylah is back to her normal playful self. I am so thankful to my Veterinary and Embrace. Our bill was $1800.00, in which Embrace covered $1,087.00. Having four children w/one just starting college this was a huge relief.

This company is amazing in responsiveness to claims, I wish I'd found them before I enrolled with another company. I'm so glad I switched to them. I faxed the claim information and got my eob email 2 hours later. This is my second claim for Trevor and both experiences have been so easy, they are excellent. I've referred others to Healthy Paws, I just can't say enough positive things about their customer service. And helping homeless pets is a bonus.

I have submitted a couple of claims to HP and within a week, I have received payment. My boy Cooper had to have eye surgery and it was over $1200! They covered $1073!! When this happened to his other eye, I had VPI and they didn't cover anything. He also made a trip to the ER for upset stomach and that was $600! HP covered over $400 (had to meet deductible). Healthy Paws is THE best pet insurance company out there. Hopefully I won't need them often but if I do, I know they are there for us!
