My sweet little dog would have passed away if we hadn't had Trupanion INS because we could not have afforded to save her life. It was thousands of dollars. She is back to her playful self . She is a very beloved member of our family. We hoped we would not ever have to use our insurance but that being part of Trupanion might help someone else be able to save their dog or pet . So Thankful to still have our little Pumpkin!

Learned about pet insurance from my son. His dog had some early problems and it really paid off for him. When we got our new puppy we checked into insurance. Nationwide was one of the ones she recommended. After researching the companies I decided to go with Nationwide. They had the best coverage as far as I could tell. Our sweet little Kiwi ate something she shouldn't have....again! Because we had seen something similar in the past, we weren't surprised when our dog ended up in surgery to have a full glove removed from her intestine. Because we had dealt with a claim with Healthy Paws before, there wasn't the stress of how it would all work, would they really cover it... We could concentrate on our dog and her recovery, knowing Healthy Paws had us covered. The website and submittal process is extremely easy. And they have always completed the process in less than the "10" days they ask for. We have always received the checks before we had to make payment on the credit card bill. All of this is such a peace of mind when taking care of your dogs health and recovery can be extremely overwhelming.

VPI/Nationwide has always been there for our pets, covering medical expenses that we would otherwise not be prepared to pay. They also follow up to check how recovery is going.

Pet insurance is one thing we'll always have when we have pets. It puts your mind at ease if you have a pet and an unforeseen emergency arises. Ever since Nationwide bought this insurer, the claims process has gone much faster, which helps tremendously. Thank you.

It's been over a week since I submitted my claim. I've been paying for over a year for insurance and because it's my first claim I have to wait longer... that's rediculous. Beth was awesome, patient and friendly. She needs a raise!
