Pleased with Embrace

I am pleased with Embrace and that they respond quickly when have a question regarding claim submitted or other info might need. Their representatives are always courteous. This past claim submitted I did have questions and representative responded and answered my questions. Very please with Embrace. Also, like the fact that they deposit claim check into direct deposit and let you know that it has been deposited.

Confused

I thought the wellness & Illness were two different claims.He had his wellness check up a few months ago.This claim was due to sickness,Poor boy was throwing up & crying as if in pain,Could you please explain difference in the two types,Meaning Illness & wellness.I have always been happy with this insurance just not sure of the difference between the two now.I've never used the illness plan before. Great to work with!

Gunnie chewed up her e-collar (& duct tape) after her spay surgery, and was vomiting. She needed xrays to determine if there was an obstruction. I sent the claim form and her records & the invoice to Trupanion. The $ will be in my account today.:)

Quick response.

I submitted a wellness claim. I had two invoices and should have sent them separate as one was from July and one from mid August. The July one I wasn't sure if would be paid as not sure how much was in wellness account. I felt the August one would be paid as was start of policy renewal beginning of August. Received an e-mail about not paying the July invoice but nothing about the August invoice so I called and was told that someone was working on it. Felt could have acknowledged that it was being worked on as thought it was discarded along with the July invoice. All-in-all I am happy with Embrace. As far as the wellness policy is concerned is there a higher amount policy that I can purchase as Milo goes 2-3 times for wellness (usually every six months) and also have his Sentinel and Advantix meds.

I switched from 24Petwatch, and I'm so glad I did.

Dollar for dollar, Embrace is the clear heavy-weight among the choices for pet insurance. I was fed up with 24Petwatch because of the terrible customer service, the auto-denial of claims, and the pittance they did offer as reimbursement when I was finally able to wrangle it out of them. My policy for my two dogs with Embrace is only $9/month more, and it is worth every penny. The customer service is outstanding. I wish they could train every customer service agent for every industry. We would all be a lot happier. I just got my first reimbursement check today for my dog's annual wellness visit (I pay the extra $14/month for routine care), and I received a 100% reimbursement! The check came less than 2 weeks after my vet faxed in the claim form. I could not be happier with Embrace. Seriously, if I could kiss them I would.

Helped safe my dog's life

Trupanion reimbursed 90% of what it cost me to treat my dog after he ingested raisins. The staff at Trupanion were very kind, thourough, and honorable. They did what they said they would do. Absolutely no problems. They made this experience as easy as it could be. They really helped save my dog. Thank you Trupanion!

I just love embrace....

I had been researching pet insurances for some time and thought I had found a great one. Needless to say when I sent in my first claim, all I got was the run-around. I cancelled with that insurance and started the elusive search again. This time I found Embrace. From the very beginning the customer service was astounding. I adopted sprinkles from a shelter and along with insurance for major illnesses I was seeking wellness insurance. She has skin problems and I was concerned about her scratching. Thanks to embrace wellness insurance I am able to get her nails clipped monthly and get reimbursed for this wellness service without any hassles. She still scratches from time to time but I feel better knowing that her claws are being maintained so she doesn't hurt herself.

They are Tops in the Business

I researched Pet Insurance a few years ago and found Healthy Paws to be the best so I purchased. No, having had my 2 cats and 2 dogs insured with them, it has become very clear why they are tops. First, when I bought insurance for my newly adopted lab mix who was a rescue, he had a resolving skin issue and a nasty ear infection. When I sent in all his medical paperwork initially, I was told he would have a 6 month period of time during which, if the dog had no skin issues, all skin related concerns would be covered. Read all the other reviews, I guarantee that if your dog had a skin issue that they would deny you any future skin claim regardless of the cause. Not Healthy Paws, in fact, my dog also had a nasty ear infection requiring multiple vet visits over 3 months. Initially when I purchased the policy, I was told he would have no ear coverage due to pre-existing coverage, but one phone call and a letter from my vet stating that the infection was one episode not "multiple chronic ones," and healthy paws put him on the same 6 month waiting period for claims. He has thankfully had no claims for almost 3 years and we know he is fully covered. My 15 year old cat has had many claims in the past few years and everytime, they are acknowledged within a few hours and an EOB is in my email a few hours after the first email acknowledgment.
