I am beyond grateful that Drake is covered by Trupanion. The pre-approval process was seamless and getting my vet paid in a timely manner was beyond appreciated. If it wasn't for Trupanion, I'm not sure what I would've done when my dog had eaten a dozen chicken bones!

Graham provided excellent service. However, I was frustrated with Trupanion on Saturday evening, March 7th when I took my dog into the emergency hospital with internal bleeding and a mass on her spleen. It took Trupanion >1hr to determine whether it was going to cover the emergency surgery my dog needed to save her life. A manager had to called which took extra time. I have been paying Trupanion premiums for 5 years (since February 2015). This situation should not have taken so long to determine coverage - this was exactly why I bought Trupanion insurance and have paid thousands of dollars over the past 5 years. We were very worried about our dog's condition and the fact that her condition was getting worse while Trupanion was determining coverage when this situation should have not been in question.

Trupanion provided quick, clear information regarding the repayment for the invoice I submitted. However, I did think the person I spoke to was Stephanie.

Almost always quick processing of claims with great coverage. Only had to follow up with one call this time to inquire regarding the delay on a claim.

When you deny a condition that was diagnosed AFTER insurance was started, it makes me wonder if your insurance is worth it. I’m debating canceling since you aren’t covering any of the issues that my dog has.

Thank you for making claims easy to submit. Over the past few years the changes you have made have really streamlined the process. You guys are the best, have always been the best pet insurance around.

The coverages are good, the claim process could be improved.

Don’t don’t cover vaccines, wellness and spray/neutering.... and they certainly didn’t help with 2 ER visits! I have paid monthly premiums for nothing.
