Great insurance
It is very easy to submit your claim. You just take a picture with your phone and send it through email. My puppy had a bad reaction to his vaccines, so I called the help line and they were absolutely amazing. It's very comforting knowing that I have someone to call anytime day or night if my puppy is not acting okay. Thank you!

Great company after initial nightmare sorted out.
I was super excited to see that Nationwide offers wellness and reimburses 90% of covered expenses. The monthly rate is reasonable and the deductible is reasonable as well. However, it is advertised that medical records are not needed to submit claims. Upon submitting my first claim, I got a notification that medical records were needed. Then when I sent them in I got a notification that they were only partial. The entire, complete record had been sent in. Emailing customer service was a nightmare. All they would tell me was that the claim was denied due to incomplete medical records. They could not tell me what was still needed. After months of frustrating emails, I finally called and talked to someone. They fixed my issue immediately and from then on I have had no problems. Submitting claims is super easy through the vitus vet app on my phone. Reimbursements can be automatically sent to my bank account which is very convenient. I'll be honest, I was ready to cancel my insurance and ask for my money back until I talked to customer service on the phone. Now I'm glad i didn't, as I have been reimbursed for every claim I have filed so far.

Thankful for Nationwide and the peace of mind they offer for my Max!
This is my first experience having pet insurance. I am hopeful I never need to use it for something serious, but find it comforting to know it is available. The claims process is very easy and moves quickly.
