Satisfied
We rescued 2 pups from the same litter, they have emotional issues and crating became a problem when our boy, Titus, tried to chew through the bars. He bent and broke a few, and broke a few teeth. After seeing the $1,600 vet dentist bill, we were worried about how we could care for these pups when it was not three months in, and already shelling out over a grand. Luckily we had already had VPI, easily submitted the forms and paper work..... and got reimbursed. SO happy we got Pet insurance, and recommend it to everyone!

Here we go again...Premium increases
There are a lot of things I like about Pets Best. They really have a great turn around time and great customer service. However, now my premiums are going up signficantly (last year was 50% and this year an average of 44%). I am told it has to do with location, breed, and vet price increases. I am mightly disappointed in them. I know they have had new underwriters, but it's not fair to push such huge premium increases on your customers.
In regards to my one and only claim for this particular pet, the claim was processed in two days. For that, I'm very impressed. However, they won't cover giardia tests because it's has parasites that be prevented. Not true anymore. There used a vaccine but it proven to be inneffective so the American Veterinary Assocation removed it from their list of recommended vaccines. It doesn't work. I have a pet covered over another insurance and they told me they do cover giardia because there is no vaccine that can prevent it from happening.
My overall feelings are mixed on this company. I cannot in good conscience place my new pets under them. But when it comes to calling them and having claims processing, they are extremely fast. They typically don't question anything either.

Great Experience
I am very happy with my first experience filing a claim with Healthy Paws. The staff was very courteous and helpful in getting all of the medical information needed to complete my claim. The claims process was very quick and only took a few days to complete, start to finish. I also appreciated that everything that was/wasn't covered was clearly explained in writing and there were no surprises. The coverage was exactly as described upon signing up. The best part was knowing that I didn't have to worry as much about affording an unexpected surgery for my kitty! Thank you!

A company full of friends
My dog suffered complete cranial cruciate ligament rupture and had to have surgery to repair her knee. On the day the vet hospital submitted the paperwork for the claim, I received an email from the company telling me that the claim was being processed. The next day I was told the check was in the mail. I was amazed at how quickly my claim was handled. I want to add that every time I have communicated with the company, they have been friendly and caring. I have great confidence in them.

So Happy I Signed Up with Healthy Paws
This is the perfect pet insurance for me. A flat percentage paid after the deductible is great and the claims process is seamless. I have been recommending this company to everyone I know.

Continuing Condition
Buyer beware. I have been insured with Pets Best for over 5.5 years and my experience has been fair. For routine services the plan was pretty good however when it came to major dental services the claim which was extensive was denied. Unfortunately our poor little Cavalier was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease in 2013 and the plan paid 80% of expenses until the moment when the poor little pup died suddenly from congestive heart failure on 12-30-14. I submitted a claim for appx. $1,500 for emergency services and the Company denied the entire claim under the reasons that the coverage for the CONDITION was maxed out. Last, when I asked if the costs for the After Care of the poor little girl would be covered the representative flatly told me that there would be no coverage as the costs are related to the CONDITION.
There was never any explanation of any change in the policy from the time we bought it to the present date or an offer to opt of the old policy and switch to a new policy.
So my friends read the fine print carefully, think twice or even more times before you sign up as you will be disappointed when something terrible happens and you seek their support and assistance.

Very Easy Process
I have had Pets Best Insurance for 2 years and this was the first illness that required me to submit a claim. The process was very straight forward and I could easily track the progress through my customer account on their website. The claim response was detailed and clearly showed the application of my deductible and co-pay amounts. Such a relief to have this insurance and ease of process when I needed to focus on my dog and her care.

Best pet insurance!
I can't say enough good things about Pet's Best! We have had multiple ER and vet visits in the last 4 months for a cat with urinary problems, including a costly surgery and Pet's Best has reimbursed quickly and without difficulty. I am honestly shocked at how great it is. I have been telling everyone around me who will listen!

Embrace continues to provide prompt coverage.
One of our Danes is 6.5 years old and is beginning to have mobility issues. Embrace's coverage of his numerous procedures has been great. They are always prompt to notify us of the status of a claim, and pay shortly thereafter.
We have a younger Dane that typically only has wellness claims at this point, but they have been covered just efficiently.
We have renewed our policy several times and will continue to do so with this great service.
