Premiums increase year by year, while claims are ruled ineligible. In retrospect, I would have been much better off to have cancelled Trupanion Pet Insurance years ago, and put the monthly premium in a savings account dedicated to pet care.

Everything I could've hoped for.
Figo has been really good to me and my dog. They did have a small issue with the time it took to process claims, but it's much better now. The last 2 claims I made were both processed within 12 hours. I truly love it. Of course it's not perfect, but I love that they offer a 100% reimbursement option and are true to it. They don't cover maintenance stuff and routine stuff, but everything that has been unexpected with my dog they have been there for us.

No hassle for emergency dental
My sweet GSD awoke with a severely swollen face. After rushing to the vet, it’s discovered he has an abscessed canine. Surgery scheduled after beginning antibiotics- vital due to last years cruciate ligament surgery- and tooth removed. No hassle filing for claim. Electronic paid. Simple. We are so pleased with having pet insurance with Nationwide for all 3 of our dogs. It gives us peace of mind that we can provide them with stellar care without losing the house.
