Right eye repair
We woke up one morning to discover our dog with a swollen right eye. After a visit to the emergency vet, we were told she had a large eye ulcer. After 2 weeks of following vet orders, it had not healed. Our vet recommended doing a corneal debridement to help encourage the ulcer to heal better. We followed the recommended treatment and 5 days later, her ulcer was completely healed and was no longer uptaking any eye stain. We went back 3 days later for a final check and her eye once again did not uptake any stain confirming that it had fully healed. All of this treatment cost over $1000 and because we had Pet insurance with Nationwide, almost all of our cost to repair our dogs eye was covered by her pet insurance.

Annie's oral surgery was supposed to be the extraction of two teeth, but...
Annie's oral surgery was supposed to be the extraction of two teeth, but after the x-rays were taken, the total rose to five teeth.
She did nicely and ate right away, not bothering to think of all the stitches, Three days later she started playing with her toys.
The only item missing was the email I always received from VPI letting me know that they had received my claim and were processing it.
A few days later I stopped at the Animal Hospital and asked them to check to see if they had faxed the claim. Of course, that afternoon I
received my check in the mail.
