Great coverage and service!!
I was surprised when I saw that my claim was going to be covered 100%, what a great policy!!! Thank God my dog is ok and no further treatments are needed. Is such a relief having this coverage!!! Great service too and fast reimbursement.

Claim challenges
Claim information was vague. Now it's hard to get back to the vet to get more information to get claims processed. The technical diagnosis, well there isn't one for a puncture on the paw pad, at least my vet didn't put one. I still have a couple of claims like this. I get off same time as doctor closes.

Always a pleasant experience
I used the VitusVet app to take pictures of my receipts and claim form and I was able to easily submit my claim. No fax machines or mailing in any forms. I then received an acknowledgement email from Nationwide and then received my reimbursement and explanation of benefits. The best part about Nationwide is that they always reimburse me accurately and I never have to question if I'm getting everything I should. I trust them so I just have to submit the receipt and I know they'll process it correctly.

Claims have always been processed promptly
Claims have always been processed promptly, and the funds direct deposited within a few days. The only time I've experienced a delay is because the veterinary practice has not sent the requested documentation

Grateful
I have two six year old Westies that both have health issues (one requires weekly allergy serum injections and the other requires 6 daily eye drop medications for KCS). Both are lifelong conditions. Although I never had pet insurance with my earlier pets, I decided to enroll in Nationwide Pet Insurance with these two when they were very young (4 months and 8 months, respectively) not having any foreknowledge that we would be dealing with lifelong issues for both of them. I am beyond grateful to have Nationwide pet coverage and highly recommend them. They are the best!!!!!

Feel confident that I’ll have most of the vet bill taken care of. Especially having the nails done is the biggest plus for me.
I have not had any issues with Embrace Insurance. They’ve taken care of the bills as per contract.
