Very useful...did not have insurance on Taffy (Cairn Terrier who passed away at age 18). She had medical problems which cost us a fortune. This is nice...Pet Insurance is a must. Riley (new Cairn Terrier) has benefited from Nationwide (as have his "parents). A+ for your pet insurance.

The service for indiana’s Claims has been awesome and incredibly responsive. Additionally, the vet help line has put our mind at ease on a few occasions.

My dog required 3 vet visits in a week. Because knowing I had nationwide I felt I was able to give him all the medical attention he needed. It was very easy to summit all the bills and a quick turn around with explanation of benefits

I began purchasing pet insurance from the ASPCA for one of my dogs - a mixed breed male,- after I lost my other dog to a terrible neurological disease........which also was very expensive for her treatment. My experience with the ASPCA insurance with response time, reimbursements and customer service has been terrific. I would recommend them heartily to friends and families with pets. While my pup (going on 12 years) has been healthy, he has suffered some ailments and one injury in the past 6 months, and the folks at ASPCA have been prompt in sending reimbursements and keeping me informed online of the status of all claims. I have now used Nationwide Pet Insurance for the last three months and the service has been great. We have submitted multiple claims since we have two puppies and they required multiple shots and checkups at this early age, plus had them spayed and neutered. Submitting claims was very easy and fast. The only thing that does not earn the 10 rating is the length of time to process. But that is the only thing. Glad we purchased this affordable insurance for our dogs. Thank you Nationwide for offering this service.

We have been clients of VPI/Nationwide since 2004 when we adopted our first dog. When Kadi passed away in 2015, we adopted a new pup Sawyer and immediately got him a Nationwide policy. A year later, we adopted him a brother Oliver. Between the 3 dogs, we have seen Nationwide coverage from puppyhood through end of life management. Nationwide has promptly covered everything from wellness (vaccinations, checkups), to giardia, neutering, teeth cleaning...all the way thru cancer treatments. It doesnt matter if we see our regular vet or a specialist - its covered. The vast range of of items covered is absolutely amazing - and now we have the top policy and it is reimbursed at 90%! We could not be happier. Having these policies has given us the peace of mind to know we can afford any vet bill or service, specialist or emergency visit. We can provide our pups with the best care out there, to help them thrive and live the best life they can. We have even recommended Nationwide to family and friends (and they have signed up too!). Nationwide is on our side - and on the side of our pups most importantly!

Great service, 100% of coverage would be perfect

Had my first experience with Nationwide after one of my Beagles was bitten by a poisones snake. Fortunately, I was able to get him to the emergency vet in time and he's back to his normal self now. The bill for his treatment was about $2400. The process for getting my claim completed and my reimbursement was both simple and quick. A+ for Nationwide!
