Was skeptical, now grateful!
I was expecting a catch with Grendel's teeth cleaning, but I was very grateful to learn it was a straightforward claim and Nationwide paid 90% of the total bill as promised. It'd be nice if the premium was a bit lower, else I'd rate a 10. Still, I am very happy with the customer service and peace of mind.

Helped me when my pet needed an emergency dental
My pup Atlas injured his two front teeth. After visiting the vet it was determined that he needed those two removed and they were able to get him in the next morning. During the dental he ended up having to get several others removed. It was an expensive procedure but luckily with his insurance I was able to get a significant amount of the cost back. I am glad I did not have to think twice about getting my pup in to have his teeth fixed. He feels better and so do I.

Nationwide is there for my furry friend when we need them
It gives me peace of mind to know that my pet’s insurance will help with vet’s bills should the need arise- also helps with needed immunizations and heart worm and flea prevention products.

By having this insurance I am able to take care of my cats the way it should be. My oldest cats has had a lot of medical issues and with this insurance I am able to take care of her. She is 16 years old and without the insurance; I would not be able to afford the expenses.
Once the claim is placed about a week later the company checks to see how the pets are doing and if more help is needed.

Purchasing health insurance for my dog has been a positive experience
I would recommend buying health insurance to my friends and I am very happy with the service i receive from them. Claims are processed quickly. I like having an on-call vet available to ask questions. Sometimes, I just don't understand why something isn't covered but overall, I'm satisfied with the service I receive.

Great turn around on claims
Nationwide has been great on the turn around on claims submitted. My dog has gotten ill twice in the last couple months and they were awesome in getting the claim approved and reimbursed me.
