The entire process, from getting enrolled to submitting claims to receiving the reimbursement has been excellent. The website is easy to navigate and all of our claim information is there and easy to access.

Nationwide provides me the opportunity to obtain insurance for multiple pets. Not only does it provide help in times of sickness or injury, but also wellness. The premiums are reasonable, but of course it would be better if there was a smaller or no increase each year. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to maintain their pets' health and be prepares for the unexpexted.

Good coverages, easy claims reporting

We decided to insure Jack as a puppy never dreaming that our beloved dog would be diagnosed with histiocystic sarcoma which eventually resulted in the loss of the joy of our life on January 12, 2020. Jack first presented with a limp which eventually led to the amputation of his right front leg, chemotherapy sessions and medications in attempt to treat his cancer. We could not have provided this treatment without Trupanion. They were with us the whole way with unwavering claims support that was provided very quickly. I do not know how much was paid for Jack's treatment but would guess it was between $15,000 and $20,000. Although we are heartbroken at the loss of Jack we feel like we did everything to try to treat his deadly disease and got to spend an additional six months of quality time with him that we could not have experienced without Trupanion's help. We would recommend that anyone thinking of raising a dog get insurance through Trupanion. We never thought we would ever need the help for the catastrophic cancer that took Jack's life. We would be happy to reimburse Trupanion for what they paid to treat Jack if they could return him. That is not going to happen but we are grateful that we got health coverage for Jack. Thanks again. This was our first time in filing a claim. The whole experience was very easy; we completed our claim online. The claims process was quick.

Would not pay claim despite appeal letter from vet indicating injury vs pre-existing condition. They also delayed responding to my appeal until the new year, so my deductible would not factor in. Just another typical strategy from a company not in the business of approving claims or trusting a vet opinion on acute vs chronic medical issues. I cancelled my policy immediately. Don’t be fooled, this is a scam. I reported them to the insurance commissioner as well, doubt I’ll see any money but it felt like the right thing to do.

Healthy Paws has been wonderful for me and my girl Whimsy! They have been easier to work with and submit claims to than my own health insurance. Having Healthy Paws has made it easier to care for my furry family member and given me a greater peace of mind than if I didn’t have them.

People on the phone are wonderful, they seem to really care about your pets and my couldn't be friendlier. I had never used the insurance before and hoped I would never have to and the review process does take a bit longer then I think it should. My veterinarians gave them all the information they needed right away but the payment did not come through right away. As a matter of fact I'm still waiting for one. But in the end if they come through that is what matters.

Chose Harville per insurance because of an email from Subaru. We all know Subaru loves pets. I've had very good experiences. The customer service is excellent and claims are super easy to submit. Glad to have them for my pet's insurance.
